  Thank you, cyberguy, for this very fine presentation.

  While it appeared daunting at first, I did wrestle with the information.

  It makes complete sense, and is consistent.

  : as Acts 3:24 points out directly, this "restoration of all things," was already taking place, for "all the prophets, in fact, from Samuel on and those in succession, just as many as have spoken, have also plainly declared these days" (Acts 3:24). In other words, it was occurring then, not at some future time, such as 1914!

  That's a key point for me, together with a straightforward reading of Luke 21.

  Resorting to this kind of very sick "disclosure" and attempt to discredit ruins any attempt you make to reason with me. You just made Deacon's argument for him. I now have another good reason to believe that YOU, Mishnah, are Duns.

  Go back into the woodwork or wherever you have been. We value truth here, not rumor and crap like you just posted above, and we cherish plain speech that helps not opaquely obfuscates.

  Do you really think the kind of display you "two" put on will in any way win ANYONE to the lofty principles of Christianity? You have made asses of yourselves in this whole silly affair.

  BERRY LAWSUIT EVALUATED

  i would like to preface my discussion of the recently filed berry lawsuit with several remarks.

  first, i am not an attorney, and my only connection with the legal profession is that which occasionally arises out of my personal or business affairs.

  second, i have no access to court records, opinions, etc., other than what is available via internet search engines.

  Where did you come to this conclusion? You are wrong. Don Adams is the new President of the Watch Tower Society, and it is he who oversees the international end. Not to be unkind, but you just don't know what you are talking about and remind me of that group in Russia or in the Eastern bloc.

  Judah Ben has no legal training whatsoever. Anyone who knows him will tell you he has not over any international relations. You probably saw his name on a press release such as in Great Britain, because he handled that for the now-reorganized Public Affairs department which he's no longer with.

  If you do not choose to call Watchtower to verify it as suggested, why not call Randy Watters? You seem to have regard for him--I visited your site. You have been misled by someone, and not the people on this thread. All of us want to see Watchtower sued TO CHANGE POLICY. None of us wants to protect Watchtower, the folks here are dialogueing to get at specifics.

  Why am I taking time to reply? I have been lied to for a very long time; better said, I have let myself be lied to it. Don't spend the rest of your life based on rumor, find out for yourself anything you want to. You will have a new sense of freedom that is amazing.

  Translation: Society to elders, COs and DOs: Forget what we've suggested to you privately about protecting the organization and "Jehovah's good name," you are the dumb asses who will bear the burden, not we in our palace in Patterson and Brooklyn. We wash our hands of you.

  Now: "The victim or the victim’s family may also report the matter to the authorities. The[y] have an absolute right to report and none should interfere with this."

  Then: "Furthermore, we do not prohibit or discourage the victim or the victim's parents from reporting child abuse to the authorities even if the alleged perpetrator is one of Jehovah's Witnesses."

  THAT IS NOT EXACTLY WHAT HAS BEEN PRACTICED THROUGH THE YEARS, IS IT!

  I note the terms "terrible crime" and language like "a complex and important societal concern." Looks like they have reached out to obtain outside legal counsel.

  I almost got paranoid at your question, somebody. I thought, "Do I tell her I went to school in November or December of 1994? I'll tell her I went in November rather than December so they can't track me down." Sick, isn't it!!!

  Yes, this was read twice at the school and is handwritten in every blessed book in the world. We will likely soon know what if anything the new Flock book says. Its full contents have not leaked out yet.

  As to blame, did you read the choice comment from Mario Moreno, the Watchtower lawyer, who says elders "screw up?" They even say elders should avoid calling or talking to any traveling overseers because THESE "screw up" so often. That is sure to go over well with COs and DOs. You are right on the money, they care for nobody but themselves and will sacrifice anyone as fast as a lightning strike.
