I was a JW for 43 years and it will take awhile to rid myself of odd feelings every now and then.
I saw a programme many years ago about china and was very jealous of the lifestyle shown there it seemed so simple and so real.
Apparently it isn't a cross at all it is something to bring her good health as she is ill at the moment.

well, i never thought i'd see the day when i was prepared to talk about my 20 plus years in "the truth" (rolls eyes upward in despair)!
in view of what i have to show from it, i cannot help thinking that i wasted the best years of my life!

the truth is------- we have lost out on soooooo much, simply because we were witnesses.
it might b like almost starting all over again, for some of us.

No I don't realize yet, but it is dawning on me!
I had fake dreams and false realities. I had no ambitions!
I find myself in my mid forties and not knowing who the hell I am, what I really want and where I want to be.
But that being said, I am happier now than I have ever been. Free to choose, not feel guilty and beginning to realize that I am more than OK! (Never actually fancied living in the new system anyhow, pipe dream that it was)

The love for your child seems to me the nearest you can get to unconditional love.
However the love between adults(it seems to me) however strong has limits. Are these conditions?

she was the BP presenter when my first lot of kids were growing up. She had a lovely way about her. very sad.
i get asked that question alot, some even ask what exactly my purpose is!
i can live with it.. if i had to answer my own question, i'd have to say it broken down into a number of points.
a. i like to see what the latest stuff is happening on the "apostate" side.. b. i like to watch the politics of this group.
My children want me to stop looking at this site now. They reckon I should move on.........
but I was a JW for 40 plus years it isn't that easy.
They think I shouldn't waste any more energy on it. Have they a point?
