hi Secret,
I was married to my first love for over 20years. So not all go astray.
however there can always be a nagging doubt about settling down so soon with your first love
wishing you well
how are you guys' views on first loves?
are they always supposed to end up heart breaking just to teach you a natural lesson that always seems to happen.
or can you reall find the right person the first time?

when did the wt start having guards come out during the song and prayer at stadium conventions?
i noticed this at a convention in san diego, right before the song begins, a bunch of "brothers" come out and stand at key positions facing the seats, and scan the audience!
they remain until after the prayer, and they do not bow their heads during the prayer, but keep scanning the audience.
Yes, I have seen it over here in the UK during the prayer. A few years ago a guy got onto the grass area in front of the platform and he tackled down, I feel with unnecessary force during this time the brothers in the stands started to clap why? I am not sure why, maybe so no one could hear what he was saying or that he was being manhandled away. It wasn't pleasant, in fact I left straight after as I didn't feel comfortable.
i am on the look out to chat to anyone from the east midlands.
as nice as it is chatting to folk from around the world, it would be nice to get in touch with some locals.
chok
have sent you a PM.
have a good weekend
i really am laughing.............my dad, bless his cotton socks, just sent a lovely picture holiday picture of himself and guess what??
he is reading a watchtower you can clearly see the front cover and that was his point.
even on holiday he is on duty...................funny really..

i was at work today and i noticed a tradesman walking through the building wearing a t-shirt with a company name on it.
i knew it was a dub's trade name and felt sick in the stomach.
i didn't recognize the man wearing the shirt and thought maybe the business had been sold to someone else.. at lunch time i sat near a door and saw the boss of the company.............yes, it was the dub!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
You have every right to feel angry with anyone who hurts you or yours, even indirectly, as this person did by standing by and not doing the right thing.
Individuals like them should be the ones with mill stones round their necks at the very least.
have a good weekend by the way
who knows what will come in the years ahead from terrorism, global warming, conflict over natural resources, proliferation of wmd, et al.?
it's not hard to imagine truly horrific things happening.
i don't think it's likely, but perhaps one day the major powers might even respond to religion-related terrorism by joining together to restrain or control religion under the banner of the u.n.. such events certainly could trigger a response from the fears/phobias that ex-jws may carry around with them due to years of wt indoctrination -- however much repressed these are at most times.
There is a slim chance that I might start praying again, to whom I dont know.
But I shall never go back into a Kingdom Hall, so help me God!
what do you find yourself doing differently?.
do you ever feel a little shocked when your opinions on certain things have changed?
things that you were once so adamantly against?.
So much so, that I now actually like myself.
.
just wondering what experiences you good folks have had with the the famous (or infamous)?
The Queen and Princess Anne and Sarah aka Fergie. But my daughter has met Prince William.
Not that I am a royalist just used to live in Windsor many years ago.
well as you would have guessed from my name, i am a proud witness and i feel obliged to preach to you about the promises that our wonderful creator, jehovah god, has promised each and every one of us, of any race or background.
i know that you already know what he has told us through his word, but i am curious to wonder why you have chosen to jump off the narrow road which leads to everlasting life.
is it because you have had a bad experience in god's organization?
Sadly they are not lies about the org.
Do some more research and find out for yourself
i just told them where i work as a volunteer, that i am going to a workshop for those that have left a cult tomorrow.
they were all fascinated and wanted to know which cult i had belonged to.
i said jw's and this one guy said i he used to be one of them.
Undaunted Danny I agree
The mind control indoctrination lock they had on me was severe. The key to my release was to make comparisons with the other destructive cults.I was amazed that the moonies call their deceptive protocol of lying;"heavenly deception" how that rings and resonates with the Watchtower's:"theocratic warfare".
I have just come back from a recovery workshop and found so many similarities between the different mindset of people who had left various cults and sects that I have to reason that JW's are in the same bracket.
The interesting thing is that we all regardless of which cult beleived at one time that we had 'the troof' and that in the main we all were sorely disappointed that it wasn't.
It was interesting that no matter what group/cult you leave you are viewed quite quickly as apostate/enemy and other group members fear you, if you say one negative thing about the group you have left.
