  Conquering the Watchtower

  there are dozens of threads on this board about the fall of the watchtower society.

  most of the members here are self-motivated to do what they can to make their walls crumble.

  the problem is, so many ex-jehovah?s witnesses are going about it the wrong way.

  I think that's AWESOME what you've done! Love it! I know carm.org has a "Warning Tract", and we've printed it out and have a pile of them in the rest area of our store. People DO pick them up and take them home. I'm sure the JWs aren't thrilled with our "outreach", but ask me if I care. Education is the key, and if we can prevent just ONE person from falling into the Watchtower's clutches, we'll be extremely happy!

  okay?i?m 14 years old.

  my father has been a j.w for all of my life.

  my parents got divorced when i was 6, and then my mom was later disfellowshiped.

  Hi Blink,

  Sounds like you're a wise young man and have a good head on your shoulders. Even though I've never been a JW, I can imagine how frustrating it would be for someone in your position. The people on this board will really help and support you.

  is it my imagination, or do jehovah witnesses have an "everyone is against me" attitude??

  our daughter-in-law (who is a jw) seems to have this mind-set.

  whether its getting the car repaired, going to the doctor, work done on the house, etc., they all have "ripped her off".

  our daughter-in-law (who is a jw) seems to have this mind-set.

  whether its getting the car repaired, going to the doctor, work done on the house, etc., they all have "ripped her off".

  Is it my imagination, or do Jehovah Witnesses have an "everyone is against me" attitude?? Our daughter-in-law (who is a JW) seems to have this mind-set. Whether its getting the car repaired, going to the doctor, work done on the house, etc., they ALL have "ripped her off". Every time! It's like the whole world is out to get her! Is it just HER, or does the Borg instill these "fears" in their members??

  i couldn't believe this list of cannots that jws have to adhere to!

  i already knew about the holidays, blood tranfusions, the pledge, etc.

  there's maybe one or two that i would agree are for your own good, but the rest are ridiculous!!

  And why are they allowed to celebrate their wedding anniversary, with gifts,etc., (which is just the birth of their marriage) but they can't do birthdays?? More inconsistancies......

  I couldn't believe this list of CANNOTS that JWs have to adhere to! I already knew about the Holidays, blood tranfusions, the pledge, etc. etc., but I didn't know about all the others. There's maybe one or two that I would agree are for your own good, but the rest are ridiculous!! I knew this was a very manipulative, controlling cult, but this is unbelieveable!
