Destroying One's Faith

the jws are always grumbling that former jws are trying to "destroy their faith" and that they have nothing nice to say about the men who write for the watchtower or their peculiar teachings.. but then---jws go to people's homes and try to convince them that they should stop:.

praising jesus,.

celebrating or honoring their lord and savior on his resurrection or on his birth,.

I am glad they came and printed this like this, maybe it may wake a few more up to the not so subtle anymore, mind control they have. They really are getting sloppy about hiding the proof that they are a cult.

....spelling errors on the topic headers?.

how much effort does it take to check your spelling before you post a topic??.

just read over some of the topics up for discussion right now and you'll see a very shocking (to me, at least) disregard for accuracy.. if you can't trouble yourself to get your spelling right how are the rest of us going to respect the fact you have your reasoning right either??.

The elders serving whose interests?

the wts claims that the elders are an arrangement by jehovah to lovingly take care of his flock.

this is a typically misleading statement by the fds using the usual smooth talking and references to a divine connection to deceive the r&f.

neither the elders are jehovah's arrangement nor the jws are jehovah's flock.

Have you ever faked a service report?

it's only my third day here so, go easy on me.

lol.. seriously, my new doubts have made it harder and harder to go in service.

a few months ago, when a new month rolled around, i realized that i hadn't actually gone in service at all the previous month.

Yup cause I always thought it was stupid, and un-Christian to demand to have proof, of the time Christians spend preaching, as if Jehovah can not count each and ever second, and good intention of the heart.

Yup that bugs me too, how much effort does it take to type in Out Look Express" and use that programs spell check, then paste it to Word Pad" and then copy from there so that this forum will accept it after you have spell checked it. A person could really be a moron and fool everybody if they followed my simple steps I listed here, tisk tisk. Haa ha, I had to come back and edit the word paste.

If you say so! But why did you call your God and LORD Jehovah a god? Seem to me you should have had a flash of divine light while posting! Because Jehovah is The Almighty God!

I think everyone should part take so no big deal here. But your not one of the 144,000 because that is a continuing number which will include the great crowd that NO MAN COULD NUMBER! but Jehovah God can and knows the number!

God is not going to make one of the 144,000 have special feelings that the other sheep would not have. That is just a myth with the J.W.

Special feelings, would consist of having a hope of not living here upon the earth which "incidentally" is abnormal, all humans were meant to have this earth as their home and have the desires that are connected with this home, the little flock become over-comers having all ones hopes and aspirations progressively centered on heavenly things and not connected with the natural desires of being human such as having high aspirations of having children and envisioning your self living here on the earth and so on. I suggest reading the Divine Plan of the Ages, many years ago I was a Jehovah's Witness, till I was helped by the Associated Bible Students. It was the Witness's who broke off and formed a completely different way of worship, and took on comandments of men, blood, holidays and so on,not the Bible Students. I have had the calling for many years, I pretty much ignored it until the last six years, mostly cause of listening to the dogma of the Witness theology for most of my life concerning this subject.

The way that I knew Jehovah was inviting me was progressive, personally I feel it is not something you all of at once feel you have, as far as any special feeling you have, well, it is special to each elect, because we are all individuals. Why does Jehovah choose one and not another, because he does according to his good pleasure. The one claiming to be of this class progressively gives up his right to life as a human, this right has been provided for by Christ's sacrifice in our behalf. Jehovah is a god of ultimate loving kindness, by his providing this new creation is a demonstration of this.
