  Strange day!

  as part of my work we occasionally take our service users out on day trips.

  today was one of them occasions.

  we visited a beautiful village in north yorkshire called botton.

  i went to a bbq the other night and had a couple of glasses of white wine before being offered a white rum with black pepper.

  i knocked back two of those...not particularly large ones either and that was it...i was somewhere else!.

  the good part about it was that i was with some good friends who were able to take care of me....the bad part was that i could hardly remember anything the next day.

  anyone been going through exams lately?

  i have and have and have been extremely stressed.

  ......i know it is a means to an end but i have been a right pain in the arse to those nearest and dearest to me lately........ hey ho.. summer ahead.

  M.S visit last night (a bit long)

  i arrived home after work last night, my two daughters were away on a residential course, my son staying with a friend.

  i was preparing a meal with my four year old when the phone rang.

  the call was from a ministerial servant from my old congregation.

  V festival!

  o.k i know i'm running the risk of posting the least responded-to thread that ever was, but.........are there any posters here that willbe going to the v festival this year?

  (in staffordshire).

  also interested in hearing from anybody that has been there before.. i secured tickets after being unable to get weekend glasto tickets as muse are playing and i desperately want to see them live.. i've heard it labelled as the "posh festival" where two cups of hot chocolate cost 6.50!.

  i received a lot of encouragement from your kind words and thoughts.. however, i must let you all know that that was not my first post as many of you assummed.

  where shall i begin?

  i once spent some time living in a womens refuge with my four children escaping from the domestic violence and emotional abuse that my husband deemed to be appropriate to bestow upon us.

  apparently he had the blessing of my congregation to do so.
