SERIOUSLY THOUGH, If my life the depended on it and I had to confess, I would have to admit that I believe in the exsitence of God and the HE interacts with people.

I have my own relationship with God. I try to be good to people. When I fail, I do not let my conciense bother me. I keep on trying. I do not condem myself, After all Jesus paid for my sins, so why do I have to worry about them. I do not judge people. I try to be helpful. I do not believe in hell or in a vengeful God. I think that God will intervene to bring relief and not to kill billions. But like Gerorge Carlin, I dont understand God (my cat, I am beginning to figureout thanks to this Forum) except that I know that he is God and he does what he wants. I am also afraid of God because I know that he will punish me NOW if I offend him

I have become cynical of Rlegious leaders and all those guys and any one that think that they are at a higher level with respect to me. Elders, Gb, everyone. All are sinful men just like me.

I recognize the value and appreciate the work and research and seklf sacrifice of people that have produced Bibles and Literature and also those that have tried to assist people spiritually. But such will get their reward from God and by having a god feeling. I wont bow to them though although from my heart I feel gratitude,

I believed in many of the jw doctrines, some jewish, and some other christain beliefs too. I respect people of all faiths and I do not feel that I have a duty to convert them and I do not think that I have to prove anything to anyone.

I think that it is God's move, not to break people but to heal ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

NHK is at a table with some new boy, the NB pours coffee in his cup adds 2 tsp of sugar, drinks-too bitter, adds 2 more, drinks- too bitter- adds 2 more drinks-too bitter... NHK interupts speaks up and says why dont you stir. NB says because then it will be too sweet.

the phrases still roll off my tongue, "a god of tender mercies", a god in whom there is no injustice", a god who "protects the little one.".

in spite of those worn out platitides, if i walked in to a court room and saw the name "jehovah god" in metallic letters on the door, i would ask my attorney to make a motion to have the judge recused.

i would prefer to take my judicial chances with any ticket-fixing, bribe-taking, alcoholic, mafia-controlled human judge than face the uneven, irrational and obscene judicial decisions made by god jehovah.. i cite the case of king david of israel.

I am trying to understand my cat

like i said on a previous thread, this is my first cat.

this cat always follows me around and demands to be petted all of the time.

he wants to be carried all of the time.

He wants to jump on a table. I want him to not to be all over me sometimes. And I want to teach him no to scartach certain places. I am afraid to have ant leather chairs I will never be sure that he will not rip it to threads. I cannot close the door because he cries and wants to be with me at all times. If I leave the door open and try to reason with him to stay out. He wont listen. He has improved a lot, but his joy in life is to climb all over me, nudge my face, purr all of the time drooling saliva all over me. Except in the hunting mode, but even then he wants to be around me.

i tried this a few years ago.

i read the gospels right before the memorial.

jesus, i noticed, did not answer some questions his friends asked him.

I couldnt make heads or tails out of the Bible of not for outside help. Even the Jewsish scholars of Bible imed needed Jessu to explain just what those writings actually mean. Th Bible is written in a riddle form. In my opinion, one cannot figure its meaning on our own, Sure, now after having learned and being influenced so much as to what the Bible means, one can allege that. OG, I can read the Bible on my and I will understand it on my ow. Not so, because you have already been influenced as to how to understand it.
