"rewards" for faithful service sometimes used to come in the most unlikely manner.
to illustrate; the "privillege" of being a young microphone handler occasionally yielded its wholesome dividends of an unexpected nature.
for example, when i was once on microphone duty as a young aspirant ministerial slave, i was rewarded with an edifying flash of theocratic tit when a sister leant forward to give her comment.

god says: ?blessed is the able-bodied man who puts his trust in jehovah, and whose confidence jehovah has become.?
a governing body that made decisions based on the scriptures and blessed by jehovah!
now, he is once again serving as a christian elder.
Theo, I'm not being a smart ass in asking this question, since Jah is a God of order, why the prevalence of 'emotional misfits' within the org?

the wts has always maintained that given "the issue of universal sovereignty" makind has been allowed to prove whether he can sucessfully rule himself.
that's why we have so much pain and suffering in the world.
but has mankind been given a fair chance to prove that he can run things without god?.

this term "special relationship" is one of the most over-used expressions ever, imho.. in the uk, it is used so much to describe our relationship with the us that the phrase is becoming almost farcical.. the movie "love actually" poo-poo'd the idea of a special relationship when pm hugh grant lambasted his us equivalent as described by one critic here:.
billy bob thornton is wasted and rather ineffectual as the us president, a hybrid of clinton's lasciviousness and bush's belligerence.
topical as it is to question the dubious and one sidedness of the 'special relationship' we are meant to swallow the idea that the pm is goaded into calling it into question in a press conference owing to his char lady being touched up by the whitehouse incumbent.
Very interesting, do you agree? As Gomer Pyle would say, surprise, surprise!

i know most of you wouldn't read this, after-all it might improve your life and you don't want that do you?.
no sane person enjoys confrontation.
we like to be liked and thought well of.
Mav, nothing like learning from the school of hard knocks to be confrontational. Yes, it does have it's place.
