  Should Hand Held Cell Phones be Outlawed While Driving??

  Did Being a JW Make You a Bully VICTIM in SCHOOL?

  i read this article in the montreal gazette that talked about a young witness kid being bullied in school.

  it made me think back to all the times i was treated differently in school for being a jehovah's witness.

  i grew up in a predominately mexican community and went to public school there from 1st-12th grade as a jw.

  I'm happy to say that my brothers and I didn't get bullied. We were fighters, JW or not. If anything, we welcomed battles.

  I've already mentioned that I saw the movie, yes, it's a recommended movie. People can't seem to understand that you will have differing opinions. pros and cons on just about anything and everything. When we attend sports events, you have fans rooting for their team, do we condemn them? I picked the Calgary Flames to win the Stanley Cup but they didn't, did my life come to an end? Did I condemn the opposing team for winning, No!

  Why are we so arrogant about opposing views? Can't we respect and honor the views and opinions of others? Two weeks ago after a golf game, I socialized with a fellow golfer and we have opposite views about our local community politics, yet, we're able to sit, drink and talk about politics without either of us berating each other. Why can't others do it? Why are some people so adamant that others must adopt their views and opinions? Can't they respect the views and opinions of others without flying off the handle?

  The movie 911 will have it's fans and opposers. It took plenty of moxie for Moore to make this movie. Do you have his moxie to make such a movie or even an opposing one? Yes, he has his motives to make the movie, don't we all?

  CT, my son and I went to see the movie last night at the old Montreal forum. All the showings were sold out.

  Yes, there was laughter and tears. I entered the movie with one impression, how will the audience react? The gave a resounding hand clap at the end!

  Yes, it's a must see movie.

  Sad News...

  my mom had her valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery today.

  the operation lasted five hours, and they had just gotten her to her room at 8:00pm when she went into cardiac arrest.

  the doctor tried everything, even opening up her chest and massaging her heart.

  the last grandparent i had died this morning.. .

  he was such a great guy.

  was in the raf in wwii and went to iraq and other places but didn't really talk much about the war.

  i have been calling my kids for some time now.

  i am moving far away soon, and since i haven't had any contact with my daughters, i called them to let them know i was moving, and would like to say goodbye, before i flew away.

  weeks went by, as ususal, and no response.
