  I won't argue with you- I've seen the same evidence, yet I leave it to God to ultimately judge us, although I truly find it hard to not come to the conclusion I made regarding Rutherford, I couldn't hold back from speaking my mind on the man.

  As for Russell, you're correct, he made many a mistake (especially based on court documents), I didn't mean to imply he was above castigation.

  I'm revising my comments to state:

  John 8:1-11: " 1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. Now what do you say?" 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. 7 But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
  11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin.""

  i don't know what eles to call it , i guess it is the user name....lol.......so what does yours mean?.

  i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.

  there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.

  "1984" was required reading in my High School. I wrote many essays on it and I find it's contents widely applicable, not just to JWs. In our day and age, it is probably most applicable to Law Enforcement in all forms, with all forms of media, Cell phones, Internet, GPS, all playing a role in the "Big Brother" scenario.

  for the sake of argument lets assume that the current nwt is correct in rendering proskuneo as "obesiance" .

  "but when he again brings his firstborn into the inhabited earth, he says: 'and let all god's angels do obeisance to him" hebrews 1:6 the new world translation.. 1. if all (as in 100%) of the angels of god do obeisance to him, then he could not be an angel.

  all (as in 100%) must include michael.

  The definition of henotheism: the worship of one god without denying the existence of other gods.

  The definition of monotheism: the doctrine or belief that there is but one God.

  Now, what do you think? Did the Jews believe in monotheism or henotheism? How about St. Paul?

  Great question, thanks for the challenge!

  My off the cufff response: monotheism. My "I'll get back to you" response: henotheism. It would make my job so much easier if the definition of henotheism were "the worship of one God without the existence of other gods".

  That, I'll have to ponder.

  I agree with much of what you say, Yeru. I've just grown tired of political discussions, and I find this forum very challenging to express my opinion- I tend to get very hot headed over politics! ( Don't want to get banned!)

  I always take these "the sky is falling" reports with a grain of salt- I've been burned too many times by getting reactionary over such things. It may take decades for the truth to come out. It may be a natural, temporary setback, or it may be a a catastrophic endangerment or even extinction- time willl tell.

  i love to go out for lunch...... we have good mexican restaurants around here and sushi bars.

  we also have a bbq here at work and we will make grocery runs so we can bbq up some nice steaks!

  Every single day is different.

  Some days, no lunch.

  Other days, eat at home (office).

  Other days, take customers (or prospective customers) out to lunch.

  Still others, I take my love, and/or friends and/or family, out to lunch.

  It is truly random.

  Which is why I suppose I live life day by day, or else it is a symptom of doing so.
