  Judah B(en) Schroeder and the Watchtower attorneys used the years of UN liason to appear at and testify to the UN's Human Rights Committees, and this was not just for doing book research. A 1994 Awake has the Watchtower Society commending the UN, many Awakes quote UN branches like UNESCO and WHO, and the UN itself still has a link to a page including the 1994 Awake as an example of support. So much for the book report lie.

  i don't post here much, but i hope this makes some sense.... my aunt (my mom's sister) was born & raised a jw, though grandma's always been one of the more "lax" jws.

  (more tolerant, much less fanatical than are my mom and dad).

  though the "jw way" was very anti-college then, she took advantage of further education, got a great-paying job, and is now quite wealthy.. she is married to an "asshole" type jw--who likes to spy and get others in trouble, gets joy out of shunning df's...that type.

  As to how to jar her into thought etc without being confrontational just mail her and some others, even yourself, one of the following, then tell her "Look what I got! Did you get one too?"

  we have also had a discussion with his attorney bob calvert.

  legal costs to fight the watchtower society are mounting and another appeal may be in the works.
