The meeting(s) where you had to put on a suit and tie, sit for an hour or more and listen to a bunch of bull-crap, and pretend to be interested. Everything else was fine.

LEAST FAVORITE MEETING
by new light init's so hard to choose, but i would have to say the theocratic ministry school was my most hated meeting.
the first few talks were a rephrasing of mind-numbing society doctrine.
then it was time to listen to a ten-year old read nwt to us........... #3 talks, don't even get me started!

i know that some people have addiction problems with alcohol and i dont mean to offend anyone,,,,,but there are alot of folks who on a weekend here and there, drink and just let loose.
i , for one know that if you have a problem with alcohol this is a totally different subject .

I don't see anything wrong with downin' a few now and then. And I don't really care what others think just as long as I'm responsable and don't hurt anyone. I'm a very happy drunk anyway.

Great post Nina. My two dogs are the sweetest friends in the whole world, if only people were the same.
( I've got a springer spaniel, Willow and an english mastiff, Buster. Buster had a tough life before I got him.)

I Met A Fellow "Apostate" From This Board Yesterday!!!
by minimus inyesterday, my wife and i met a poster from this board in new york and had a wonderful conversation!
i won't reveal who he is unless i get his ok but i will say that it was the first time that i've met anyone from this board that i had not known from the past.
(a friend of mine,ho chi min, posts here and i've known him for a number of years).

I can't say that I've made any " friends " yet but I would like to, so far it's just been acquaintances. I've noticed though that the people here are very friendy and I like the change since leaving.
