nightmares

i grew up having nightmares about armageddon, satan and, most of all jehovah.

i am 25 now and i still get nightmares, and they're always about these same things.

i was wondering if my brain is overactive, or if other people on this site get nightmares about things they learned as a witness.

one armageddon dream (more like an apocalyps dream) I had several times years ago - I'm at school and in the distance I see a nuke go off and I see the mushroom cloud. I know that a terrible energy impact and fire is on its way so I quickly start witlessing to the nearest person (a better thing to do woulda been spending my last minutes 'getting to know' some babe better lol). Anyway, I realize the blast is coming and dammit I do die! No pain, just nothingness and I wake up somewhat shaken.

i would like to know more about the abba father thing in which those of the anointed "know" for certain without a shadow of a doubt they are chosen as jesus brothers..

confused - nope for me.

but in comment to you relating the jw intrepretation of the indisputable 'something' that the anointed 'feel' from the 'spirit reckoning with their spirit', my opinion is that this is another wts mystery and seems unprovable. I never could understand their explantion and have always wondered about it and a lot of other things which is probably why I am here and at this point in my life with this org.

i'm currently still thinking the explanation R Franz gives in the latest version of COC fits the best - namely not some big emotional strange experience but ANY and ALL who accept jesus and follow him become part of the anointed. That simply makes me a parrot of someone else but what else is new?

for me, i'm not anything right now, I need time to heal wt spiritual damage me thinks

e-watchman, thoughts from past topic

i was looking back and a month ago there was a topic about e-watchman and who he was and why he would expose the wt with one side of his mouth and encourage loyalty with the other side.

i wonder if these might be the reasons.... 1. he himself claims to be of the anointed and truly believes he is helping to expose the "evil slave" amongst jehovah's people.. 2. by encouraging loyalty to the wt he doesn't scare away the numberous active witnesses who read his columns and send in questions.

they read and stay in the congregations.

I know this is an 'old' thread, but let me kill it with a coupla comments on e-watchman.

I just went there this morning for several hrs after seeing the newest post on the letter to the governing body he sent out to thousands of cong's

I think you hit the nail on the head confused about this guy - i wonder though if it really is more of a very clever shot to seem like he essentially supports the org but not in fact.

I didn't agree with his commentary on blood transfusions and the shot at the end against the 'sect of Ray Franz' - sheesh whatever....

It will be interesting to see how e-watchman plays out since he apparently signed his name at the bottom of the letter to gb and he apparently is booted out of the cong...

oh yah, others have said he was You Know on this site - but how would I know? I'm just a 'junior member' snick

i'd like to do a little informal survey.

i'm wondering how many pieces of literature are actually distributed to the public.

not how many pieces are reported placed, but actually placed.

xjw - believe it or not, recycling is actively done at bethel (at least canada bethel) and in the garbage rooms on each floor (always alotta booze bottles in there - LOL) , are very clearly marked recycling bins where you can 'place' all your literature at the end of the month and proceed to fill out yer time slip. And there was lotsa literature in there cuz there ain't no room or place for leaving a bunch of ol' ~~mags~~ rags around at bethel.

I agree that the amount of wasted literature and fuel and time used is pretty rotten.

wow, some letter and of course it led me into the den of the e-watchman for several hours - dem damn devils are gonna destroy me!

you never know if at least one service department guy in each bethel will get 'infected' by the NGO information and 'infect' others! The GB may have to disfellowship all the elders in the world and make a special 'new' application of their authority and appoint sisters in the congregations LOL - and damn it, it would be about time! I love being 'disciplined' by women LOL Women in suits also ROCK! LOL

i took what i wanted about the UN NGO situation and tried to figure out if this guy is for real or what?

his 'question from reader' is an interesting twist on the wt's same at times silly effort (was he afraid to call it 'questions from readers' with esses for some reason?) to not answer q's that jws really want answers to and plus he uses some of the good ol' wts bait and switch tactics in the 'blood usage' question from reader, plus a little name bashing at the end of the commentary about other viewpoints on this topic, namely, - the 'sect of Ray Franz' - sheesh.
