  Las Vegas!

  while i was traveling this past month, (25000 miles in five weeks), i flew to las vegas and spent the first week of july there with my favorite, and now only girlfriend.

  what a great place!

  we stayed at the luxor and hit every casino on the strip, saw shows, toured the hoover dam, rode all the rides, went clubbing every night until at least three am, and slept about ten hours in five days!

  Vegas is our favorite playground! We've been there for every New Years in the last 5 New Years, but one.

  We're going there in July 31st for three nights. It's my lovely wife's birthday!

  Tried to get Celine Dion tickets, but she's on holiday.

  Oh well... there's still the tables!

  I would if someone could explain why by bible chronology says man is only 6,000 years old, and yet we have found human remains well over 30,000 years old.

  ok, my parents have pissed me off so much with their denial and their refusal to even acknowledge my complaints against the borg.

  they pretend everything is perfect at the kingdom hall and expect me to play nice to their dub friends so as to protect their own reputation.

  this weekend in philadelphia, they are going to to their little convention and i have some evil thoughts.

  I have to agree that you may be doing more damage than good. You do need the healing. Perhaps a letter with exactly what you feel, written to your parents, would give you the same sense of self satisfaction.

  Remember, when witnesses see or feel things which are against their faith, they feel it's from the devil, giving them an even stronger feeling that they alone are God's people. The borg really has it set up well.

  i know that i don't post much here as there is nothing more than a compassionate ear for me to offer to all of you who have been thru so much at the hands of the borg.

  throughout my time here though, i have sought to understand what drives people to believe what they do.

  I personaly think you hit the nail on the head. Jesus, when asked about God by his apostles say, "Look around you." I was always taught by the borg that this meant, look around and see the beauty of the things God created and know God..

  But what if he meant... Look around you. Everything you see is God. My take is everything! Everything has molicule, which has atoms which have electron, protons, quarks, etc. Perhaps Jesus was saying God keeps EVERYTHING going! Therfore, God is in every-thing

  I QUIT!

  i quit....smoking that is, my pack to 1 1/2 pack a day habit...i quit june 4th, not a single cigarette since then...though 5 to 7 pounds...are ya proud of me...huh huh huh....i had a few of ya hoping i was leaving the board....ha!

  great question as i have always wondered about quite a few of our screen names.

  as i was reading the responses, i looked at holey cheeses - king of the juice's avitar and thought about how i have been wondering for the past three years, what the hell that is a picture of.
