well, this is my first post here, and i'm kind of doing it in secret, cause i know if my parents knew of my "poisoning myself with apostates" they would not be happy at all.
anyways, my story is; i'm 17, i've been brought up "in the truth" my whole life, and now i'm starting to question the wt and christianity in general, and i have nobody to talk to about it.
i feel awkward about talking to my witness friends about it, cause i worry that if i speak out against the organazition and the wrong people (i.e; young ones around here that would never think of questioning the society) hear about it, it might result in my punishment (reproof or dfing).

Thanks drwtsn32,
Actually, my wife is being asked to go there with Bechtel, who is cleaning up the waste. Problem is, it's a permanemt position. She has been doing per diem for a few years now and we like it.
Any idea how the construction jobs are there? I am a journeyman bricklayer.
Thanks for the info!
Bryan
Thanks Carmel. Sounds great.
A job offer. How is it in Richland?

early this morning i put out three signs advertising the jw exposure seminar that will take place in tewksbury ma this friday.
i placed them strategically on the approach routes to two different kingdom halls.
when i checked them later in the day, two of them were gone and a new real estate sign was placed right in front of the third.
Yes, you must take a video camera. Still camera at the least. Good luck.

didnt you love being dragged door to door as a kid in the wind and snow, sub zero temperature wearing a skirt and you were told to smile and inform the householder you wanted to be there?
(dragged out of bed at the crack of dawn on one of the few days you should have off from school) .
and then there is that wonderful service car.
It was 1966; I was just over two years old. My father, age 27, had kidnapped me in California and was on the lamb in Louisville, KY. He writes to his mother and father on Monday:
"I gave my talk yesterday and everyone enjoyed it I guess. Bryan had that virus Saturday night but is better now. I went in service Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Hope to build my time up."
So the fact that his two year old son (me) was sick, was not enough to keep him from going "in service" Sunday morning, nor from giving his talk. The need to please, or impress, the others of the congregation, he feels building up his time up is more important than taking care of his family.
He continues in his letter:
"Did dad talk to Ted (his uncle) about Johnny Horn & ask him if the circuit servant said anything about me. Sure would like to know."
My father obviously was preoccupied with what the higher-ups thought of him. I?m curious if the Circuit Servant knew he was hiding me from my mother? I suppose the important thing is that they knew he was working to get his hours up going door to door.
Yes, I suffered in service.

most of us are familiar with the requirement which says that in order to asscociate with the un, ngos must: -"have a demonstrated interest in united nations issues and proven ability to reach large or specialized audiences, such as educators, media representatives, policy makers and the business community;".
"have the commitment and means to conduct effective information programmes about un activities by publishing newsletters, bulletins, and pamphlets; organizing conferences, seminars and round tables; and enlisting the cooperation of the media".
interestingly, according to this document:.
they had to submit at least six examples of how they were promoting the UN?s activitiesI think the timing is irrelevant. From what I'm reading, it seems that the WB&S only had to provide "examples". Therefore, the supporting articles could be posted after the '91 acceptance into the UN.
hi everyone.............i have a very sweet niece, whose husband has almost the same kind of lymphoma that dansk does, and i have been showing her the board's discussion about him and his responses.
she had this idea that i told her i would present to everyone to see what you think.
(doesnt' have to be prayer in the sense we used to think of it, just positive thinking) she is a university of washington educated psychologist, and an ex jw (since she was a young teen) and leans towards buddhism now.. <<i have an idea for people to try that i read about in.
let me know when.
