  i've come to a new conclusion about myself, this board and communication in general: i don't need to respond, elaborate, explain or otherwise defend myself to other people.

  As you may have noticed, I have returned from the search for my grandfather. The story is much too long to simply post in this message. I will post the story soon.

  I will tell you though, that after 40 years, I did locate my grandfather whom I had not seen in 40 years.

  "I thought I'd never see you again." He told me.

  I felt the same. One more of my lost family members found. As well, I travelled to Santa Baraba to see my mother's cousin who didn't even know I existed.

  This year alone I have found and contacted close to 10 family members that I had not seen since age 2. Some I had never met. They all had one thing in common though; they knew my mother. Each time I find myself more jealous by the fact that they had a life with her. They shared stories of laughter and tears at the side of the woman who bore me; the woman I never knew.

  Though I have found my mother, because of her attempted suicide, I will never really know who she was. I can only live vicariously though the memories of family whom I never knew.

  I just received a call from an second cousin that I've never met. She heard I called her aunt last night. Very interesting conversation.

  "Angie is nothing but a light in my life." She said.

  "Your mother was demonized." My father said.

  Hmmmmm.

  Understand though, Pink, concerning my grandfather. I am currently speaking with family I have never met. Some of them have not seen each other for 30 years. They all agree that my grandfather was an abusive drunk. Not to mention the letters of apology I have that he wrote as early as 1955.

  I know what you mean Pink.

  When I was about 8 my father told me my mother was demonized.

  When I was 14 I told him I wanted to find her.

  "Don't you think if she wanted you, she would have already found you." He told me. Making me think she didn't care about me.

  I now have a letter dated July 1972 of her begging my father to let her see me. Or at least send me a picture of herself. That was one year before she gave up and attempted suicide.

  since you hijacked jez's thread, i borrowed her words for the title of your very own "welcome back brownboy" thread.. this can be fun.

  everybody can ask you questions about bible prophecy and such, seeing as you and him are so close and all.

  I have not prophecied about anything.

  I have March 11th, 2005 as a critical point. Notice the two dates of November 2nd, and October 10th. This does not coincide with the exact date of March 11th, so it can occur any time. I can assure you that Mount Saint Helens is a sign of things to come. "The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it's light"
