it was the 14th of april last year that i had to sit my mother down and tell her i was an apostate.. i was closer to her than anyone else.
my father and mother are still married, but he let her raise me as a witness, and that meant it was me and mom.. me and mom in field service for 100 hours in july because she had to make her time as a regular pioneer.. me and mom fighting over what to bring for lunch to the district convention.. me and mom up late at night, when she would berate me, and then unload all her problems on to me.. me and mom and our 4 hour family studies, where we discuss 2 paragraphs of a random book, and then she would browbeat me until early in the morning.. somehow, through all that, i pretended to be a witness for years, just to appease her.
looking back, i don't know if i loved her, or if i was just afraid of her.

strange video.
.
don't know if i'm late to this thing, but it is just has me totally confused!
If you watch the credits, you can see this is a profesional animation company. She sound studio was professional was well. The Tower, I'm sure, has a pro sound set-up.
I really don't know how to take it.... Accept!
When the Witnesses were at the door they carried a fake Watchtower. I would think the Tower would use life like covers.
My guess is a very fundi, in love with the Tower, or a parody.

This animation was very expensive to produce. It was not done in someone's spare time. There had to a financial backer. I think I know were the donations are going.
Animated brainwashing! Looks like something Kim jon Il would create for his Zombies people.

a friend of mine sent me a link today for a rare book on the occult printed in 1933. it has an article on pages 539-540 on russell and the russellites.
and in the index on page 737 it lists russell's name with a mason symbol next to it.
you can save this whole book to your computer.
I have Occult Theocracy by Edith Starr Miller. Unfortunately, she was not an expert in the field and not considered credable.
It's nice to see oppinion of that ara, though.

we finally made the decision last night... though we will miss our ex's in texas... we are headed to washington.. for those who are not familiar with washington, richland is not green and wet like the seattle area, but more like an arid dessert.
the are does have some of the best school averages in the country.. we'll be there next month.
any kingdom halls there?.
Dave, we are in LA, still. And Mulan, yes the heat should be no problem. The winters may take a bit of getting used to.
My only regret is that I won't finish remodeling our house. I'm on a huge push now to finish the upstairs.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Looking forward to my first Washafest!
It's a new adventure and we will be there for 10-13 years. We've been moving about every year since 2000 with my wife's company. She was actually in Belvue, WA about 3 years ago. I stayed and worked in Austin at the time. Her company flew us every month to see each other.
We now have a 21 month old boy
