  a huge thank you to all you folks who thought of me during my recent illness and posted and sent pm's and phoned me etc.

  it really meant a great deal to me.

  i'm feeling much better with some of it and still not well with other parts but i won't bore you with all of that.

  to me this seems cruel.

  after my divorce i heard from a friend that my ex-husband's new wife was doing this to his son to stop him from telling lies.

  i was very upset about it especially since he had learned to lie from his father.. i think it is mean, what do you think about it?.

  The first step is admitting you have a problem. "Hi, my name is Elsewhere and I am a first person on the second page poster."

  Some parents can be very creative with punishment. I knew one grandparent who sat her grandson behind the couch and then turned on the tv so that he could hear the cartoons but couldn't watch them.

  What is the point of that? What is that supposed to teach a child?

  Are You SURE JWs Don't Have The Truth???

  I think it is a natural part of the leaving process. I'm sure most of us have done the "what if's".

  I know I have. My dad was the person who helped to put it into perspective for me, though. He said that if somehow they did end up being right, what is the worse that would happen? You would just die and be asleep and never wake up.
