  hi everyone, don't know if you remember me, i posted a topic a while ago because i was in need of advice about what to do in my life - so to all you who took your time and posted caring replys and good advice, i just want to say that i've made up my mind - i'm continuing my fade for the fourth month and i'm gone from the borg for good.

  if some elders decide to stick their nose in it, i'll shut the door myself.

  there's no future in staying in there for the sake of anyone else, lying to yourself and everyone else.

  Are you embarrassed?

  does anyone else find themselves embarrassed about their jw past?

  i find that when people that know what i used to be ask me about it i am completely embarrassed by how foolish their beliefs sound especially things like the blood issue.

  i can't stand when someone will say "why did you believe such and such....?

  Yes, I was raised a JW. It is just that now it seems so clear that even I wonder why I ever believed that way. I guess I am just ashamed to have been so foolish.

  Hi everyone.....

  Does anyone else find themselves embarrassed about their JW past? I find that when people that know what I used to be ask me about it I am completely embarrassed by how foolish their beliefs sound especially things like the blood issue. I can't stand when someone will say "why did you believe such and such....?" What do you answer to that, "because I was an idiot?" or "because I was brainwashed?" To me the fact that I once believed things like that makes me seem less intelligent now. Does anyone else feel that way?

  how sorry i was to hear from dansk-he is going through a very difficult time.. i would like all prayers, thoughts, please keep this in mind ____ for me!!!!.

  the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!

  they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

  well i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.

  i had fully intentioned to disassociate myself from the platform today, but i decided that if i wanted a chance to save my marriage that i'd better tell my wife.

  she immediately went to to one of the elders.

  New Baby Grandson

  we are now the proud grandparents of a little boy.

  our son and his partner had their baby on mr alw's birthday (bit ironic) - lovely birthday present.

  both mum and baby are well and we are ecstatic!!!
