Sirona,
The movie really moved me also. I didn' t expect it to. I sobbed and I agree with you that the scene with Mary was the most moving. When I walked out of the theatre I felt kind of different, kind of small.

i'm in the uk and we haven't seen the passion of the christ yet.. however, i just watched it.
quite frankly i was astounded and moved.
i cried and cried.
i have to admit that we gave our first two kids 'hebrew' names.
i don't want to identify my children online but suffice to say that we had at least some sense in that we opted for safe names of the samuel and daniel type - no melchizedeks!.
however, in our city we had a javan a samson [gen 10:2] and even a zechariah!
except when they are so unusual that a child might get picked on because of their name
That would be mine.....
was there ever a person that you just "knew" to be a "bad guy"?
i knew a co. his name was [edit] angelacos.
he loved to go into congregations and remove elders.
findingme,
I sent you a pm.

My mother gave me a bible name....and not a simple one like, Mary. It is one of those strange ones that people have to have me spell out....That is why I don't use it on the board. Aren't many people out there with my first name. Have to use the middle name.
Oh, and my mother refused to let anyone nickname me...they had to use the full first name. Poor people. I've thought several times about actually changing to my middle name but think it would be too much of a hassle.

Well everyone....I guess this is the end. The treasure was found today around a boat dock along the river...oh, and not by us.......
We spent a lot of time looking around the streets by the airforce base with the solar system names with no luck.
Still can't understand how the clues let to the place it was found. We are hoping they will explain it on the news.
Thank you for all of your help. There's always next yeart...

This is DesiB's husband. I have been looking into the possibilities posted by Mustang, and here is what I have come up with:
In Bossier City, the streets named after the planets are in a neighborhood called Sun City. These streets are in the far southern edge of Bossier City and I am fairly familiar with them because I am originally from Bossier City (up until about a year ago.) Next to the Sun City neighborhood is a neighborhood where all the streets are named after famous Generals (our own samurai.) Right behind these two neighborhoods is Barksdale Air Force Base (animals roaring nearby.) About 1/4-1/2 mile from all these locations is the Red River. In the last 5-10 years there has been much controversy over where the official line is between Caddo (Shreveport) and Bossier parishes. Any land within about 1 mile of the Red River is questionable as to which parish it's in. Local leaders have, in recent years, pulled out old maps of the river from the 1800's, when these cities were still very young, to settle disputes over casino taxation, etc. We are headed out to eat lunch now, and will probably end up in the Sun City area before the end of the day to see if we have any luck.
