I have a Yamaha 7.1 channel amp. Model HDR 5960. Good bang for the buck. I use the 5.1 speaker system. I listen to my Cd's and as a bonus I subscribe to XM radio. It has a built in XM radio receiver. Good CD quality sound from the satellite. Also Xm radio has 3 music channels that transmit true discrete 5.1 channel music. It sounds like you are in a sonic temple. The rest of the 70 music channels are in regular stereo.

For faders: Is the book study meeting the first to go?

for me, it is the bookstudy - haven't been in weeks, no one calls, says a word.. so glad not to be reading the revelation book anymore.. from reports i have heard, the book study is the least supported meetings of all five..

I just left 10 minutes into the public talk. Went cold turkey. Never looked back! Its been over 10 years. Who cares. I can't even give you the date and year. Just don't care. I did not want to play the fading game. GH

2008 study WT will be confiscated from non-publishers
by mac n cheese inthe literature servant told me that their instructions are to only give one study wt per publisher starting with the january 1st, 2008 issue.
under no circumstances are they to provide any other copies (if lost or whatever, much like kms are provided now).
any guests attending the wt study will be provided a copy, but then the servant who gave them the copy must confiscate it after the meeting.

local response to NBC news report
by Mulan inmy jw friend told me this from the meeting for service last week:.
one of the "sisters" told the group that she had spoken to (dave h*********) one of the bigwigs in this area, about the report.
he told her he had been to monroe prison, nearby, and asked about the pedophiles there and if any of them were jw's.

If he has a lap top, you can get map soft ware and an antenna. Of course a cheap 12 volt to 110 volt converter is handy so the lap top has power. I have a kit from a company that starts with a D and is located in Maine. The moving map is far superior than any hand held unit.

I hate when Watchtower uses the word "only" 11 times. To me once is too much!!!!!!! They love putting a spin on numbers. In fact they live for numbers..
