  Would you like to stand around for all eternity outside the presense of God, holding a basket of apples, with a ridiculous grin on your face, while people are seen next to you wearing white bitton down shirts from the 1980s, who were putting up the finishing touches on a modern looking house that has no plumbing or electricty yet for some reason needed a chiminey presumably since you wont have a stove, as you pose for a Watchtower artist that doesnt have the slightest sense of nostalgia or inspiration beyond the most generic depiction of COMPLETELY unconrtoverisial jovialism?

  I don't know where it was illegal but anyone that outlawed it for such a reason had the better sense.

  I doubt if they do, that its by a large margin but the issue is the war. And according to most American's at this point Kerry was right.

  i'm just glad to see that british army standards have been proved higher than those of some other countries.

  Nice cheap shot. Maybe one day soon you will found out just how high some armies' standards really are.

  Teachers showing the Berg video

  just heard from a couple of news sources that in san diego, some teachers have been alledged to have shown the berg video to their classes, telling them that "this is what bush has done.

  This instance of showing the video reminds me of something that I was shown in school.

  In the 7th grade at 12 yrs old I went to the model building club one time and my home room teacher is the one who runs it. We were doing the subject of Vietnam in class at that time so after school my teacher ran "Tour of Duty" a late 80s miniseries drama on Vietnam. There was one part where one of the grunts stepped on a landmine and he was blown in half. Then he begged another rifleman in his squad to kill him. So he reluctantly under great stress shot him in the head with his .45. I remember being shocked seeing it. It was horrific. I knew what was on the video though. It was my choice and it gave me a perspective.

  My teacher was a good teacher but I wouldnt be surprised if some knit picking bureaucrat from the Care Bear squad decided to make a federal case out of it.

  Ok, ok. Islam is one step shy from being declared illegal by me. That religion needs to clean house before it practices from now on. That's it. The Jihad has been noted and put on file, they are suspended.

  If the terrorists are the minority in the Muslim world the muslim world needs to show it is serious and crack down IMMEDIATELY or the Jihad will be for real. It will happen. Im serious. The real Jihad is coming and Allah wont win when it comes.... news at 11 folks.

  You blame the FBI for this? They offered him a plane ride, he said no.

  That's what they say isnt it. I had a neighboor who is/was an FBI agent who said "Im getting out because their is too much corruption." They say, "He committed suicide," in his office no less. He had two beautiful kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood, right accross the street from the pool, excellent referrences and a bright future. Makes sense to me.

  The problem with that idea is that they've already come here. Better to fight them there, then here, with our kids and families.

  Ah, yes the old ignore them in your backyard and fight them 10,000 miles away instead trick. But seriously donkey Iraq makes an excellent jump off point to control the middle east and would be the new prime target of a nuclear strike by terrorists based on ease of access, taking the heat off of Washington and New York. We can't pull out. On top of that if it all works out our image in the region would be much better.

  I recall another instance in which a Bush critic was targeted for removal from teaching by prominent right wingers. The case of a Florida teacher who criticized Bush's Iraq war to his students was targeted by none other than the Fair and Balanced Bill O'Reilly.

  According to him it was "irresponsible" for him to criticize the president on the eve of war because... well lets just pretend its "dangerous." It seems Bill was confusing politics for religion but that is no surprise.

  People need to quit over re-acting and that is my point. How poor was this man's judgement? Was it so bad that it demonstrated negligence that could lead to serious injury to his students? No. Was it something that was motivated by malicious desires toward his students? No. This teacher by all accounts is an excellent one.

  What if he only had supplied the name of the website where the video can be seen? These students if they wanted to see it could have done it anyway and that is not a crime. As Far as I am concerned it is much better to watch this video with a group of people you know who you can relate to after seeing it than to watch it by yourself. This is not even an illegal or even a rated video.

  Fox News has brought up the question themselves of whether or not it should be shown in its entirety on cable News.
