I'm New Here.... Part 2
by ZeroKool29 inso, i got home from my tryst and sure enough, everyone knew all the details.
so a judicial comittee was set up.
i was accused of coercing a happily married woman to drive 8 hours to spend 4 days with me in various hotel rooms all at her husband's expense.

The wanderer's return
by ozziepost inwell, it sure makes a change being able to tap away on an english-language keyboard and one where the keys don't stick!
now i hope everyone's been good while old ozzie's been in exotic parts.
funny how when you're travelling the so-called "true organisation" doesn't even rate a mention.

My best JW's friend baby passed away
by Eyebrow2 inhe was only 5 months and 1 week old...he was not breathing when they woke up on wednesday, and they tried cpr, but it didnt work.....i am so sad for them.
she was the sister that studied with me before i was baptised, and also the best friend i ever had, in or out of the jws.
she moved away from about 4 years ago, and we had only spoken a few times on the phone since then.. a mutual friend of ours called me yesterday morning and told me.

So sorry to hear this Eyebrow.
My brother lost a child about 5 years ago, its absolutely devastating , I think the support groups are a good idea if you can raise it.

Remember traveling to the conventions
by Strawberryfieldsforever ini remember years ago when my mom and i would travel great distances to the week long conventions.
we always had to travel with another sister whos husband was also "unbelieving".
anyway, her daughter and i would put the watchtower and awake mags in the back window to show everyone who we were.

I remember traveling to the convention when I was little, but before we left I drank a load of flat coke and promptly threw up all over myself and everyone in the back seat just before we got to the convention
I remember seeing cars passing with magazines or the convention program stuck to the window, but thankfully we never did that in our car

Break through #2 !
by Puternut inthis time, my youngest 17, called me last night.
she was all alone at her house and no one to talk to.
she told me she was grounded by her mom, and wanted to talk to me.

Cat Dictionary: Contributions Necessary
by Stephanus incats may well live with us, but they don't live like us.
i've noticed over the years that how we perceive stuff and how cats process the same info is often so different as to be almost alien.
here are a few i've been thinking about recently (all contributions of more examples gratefully received!

Two more from personal experience
Cat Carrier : something to be avoided at all costs, even if it means jamming yourself down behind the dishwasher for an hour, out of human reach.
Flea Coller : Something humans insist on fastening around your neck, correct procedure for removal, hook front paw inside and wriggle backwards out of it - note make sure this is done outside, so it will be at least a week before coller is replaced .
(Note 2) Never put both paws through coller at same time, or you will have to go limping back to the humans on tiptoes, who will then laugh hysterically while removing it (yes, our cat once did this )
