  Chimps For Pets----Should It Be Allowed?

  having seen what the chimp did to the poor woman in connecticut, should people be able to own pets that are really wild animals?.

  Oh and keeping a chimp as a pet is just stupid and irresponsible, especially as it had displayed behaviour problems before IMO

  Pit Bulls --can be trained and make good pets

  No I disagree, pitbulls are a dangerous breed and unpredictable. They are now banned in the UK because so many times the family pet who had never shown any sort of aggression suddenly turned and attacked and sometimes killed. I would never risk my kids safety by having one of those dogs no matter how well trained it was.

  Yes, it's a well documented fact.

  1. The torturer doesn't believe what the suspect says before being tortured so even true information freely given is classed as false.
  2. The suspect says anything and everything until the torturer hears what he wants to believe to be true so false information is classified as true.

  To know whether the information is true or false means that you need to already know the answers ... so why torture?

  Pretty basic, blindingly obvious and very well known ... but not as jingoistic and appealing to the likes of Bush and his supporters.

  Why can't I print anything from the new JWN site?

  everytime i try to print anything from jwn, it won't print.. however, when i was on jwd, i never had a problem printing stuff.. i didn't change any of my settings, either.

  i can print from anywhere else, but not from jwn.

  is there a reason for this?.

  I hope PEC's gift arrives soon I know it was coming a long way. But as I said to you in my PM occasionally things don't work out and its a real shame but I can't be held responsible for it, all I do and have ever done with this in match up people and organise it - I haven't even taken part in it myself that last 2 years.

  After this renovation is done, do you think we should tell Extreme Makeover how the Dubs view them as satanic bird seed?

  Why the hell would you do that? Why is it anyone on this boards business at all to go and call the show and try and interfere in such a way, and don't you think that it is a huge generalisation to say that all Dubs think this way. The majority of JWs are sincere honest people, why would anyone want to call the show and try to imply that this woman thinks like this when you actually know nothing about her and what she believes?

  There are much bigger issues and problems with the JWs than one person being given a gift that they obviously need and that will improve their quality of life. For people to latch onto this and try and make a big issue about how the WTS hasn't done anything for her just seems petty. There are bigger more legitimate things the hold the society accountable for than one woman receiving some help.
