Is this being done now?
Do we just write as individuals to the CC?
Has somebody got a scan of the KM that can be used?

uk re panorama program .
a letter has been sent to all po's private addresses to be read out to each uk congregation this sunday - the wt is to be 35 mins long and the lette will take 25 mons to read it.. the instructions on it are :-.
1. read it yourself.
Can someone get definite proof about this letter and its contents to the BBC prior to tonights programme.
I am sure it would really please the media to know that the WTBTS views them as satanic for trying to expose peadophile cover-ups.
Most people in the UK view the BBC and especially their documentary progs such as Panorama as respectable and trustworthy, so i hope that any thinking JW's who hear this letter will watch tonight and not be swayed by the desperate rhetoric from the GB.Does anyone know if yhis letter will be incorporated into the UK conventions that are on at the moment.

Thankyou for posting this article.
Lets hope there are a lot more like it and people will finally see the WTBTS for what it really is.

But we need those in the media to hear and see it not just controlled dubs who are unable to understand what the letter is really saying.
Otherwise it is behind closed doors yet again.

Is anyone in contact with the producer of the Panorama programme to give them the info about this letter.
Could it be worth someone from the programme going to a KH tomorrow to hear this for themselves?
Failing that could someone record the 25min item at a hall?
Maybe those outsdie the org will begin to see what sort of people the JW's really are.
Please there must be something that we can do to get this publicized.

well, i just got back from yet another summer ass-marathon.
seventeen hours of sitting in hockey arena seats that were made for three hour games, trying to stay awake, while not losing contact with my extremities.. needless to say, the program was dull and boring.
in fact, i'm not completely sure that they didnt just re-run last year's.
No it was never hot and often quite cold.
You have to remember that this is our british summer I am talking about.
The blankets really were needed at most UK locations including Norwich, Twickenham, Plymouth and Cardiff to name but a few.
Does anyone remember the hype leading up to the talk on the new understanding of "generation"?
We were good loyal dubs at that time and so following directions we had left the seats undercover for those with babies and the elderly and were sitting in the open stands.
By the time this special talk started the weather had become atrocious. It was raining so hard that we could barely hear the talk. We were actually sitting with our legs in black bin bags and umbrellas up. We couldnt use the bible or take notes, it was wet ,cold and miserable.(and the weather wasnt much better) lol.
Why was I ever that gullible.

i know of a presiding overseer who has recently got rid of the modem and internet connections on his pc.
the reason given was that he didnt use it enough to make the monthly expense worthwhile.. but i wonder?.
have there been any local needs items or talks recently about whether it is wise to use the internet?.
Has anyone tried the approach of mentioning things from the internet that they know their JW friends/relatives will be interested in.
For example most dubs are into health issues, so just give them the snippets, make sure it is from reputable sites, let them know it is from the internet and maybe they will begin to see that not all the information on line is "evil and satanic".
Maybe in this way they will overcome their paranoia and start to look for themselves.
It is the same tactics that the WTBTS uses in publishing the Awake mag and then always placing it with a Watchtower.
Maybe it is worth a try.

Hi everyone
Following tonights show on BBC2 t he voiceover for next weeks panorama prog said word for word:
"How Jehovah's Witnesses protect paedophiles and put children at risk"
Sounds pretty hard hitting to me.

has anyone thought of putting leaflets on car windscreens at the district conventions that are coming up?.
all good jws should be at the convention - if they are using public/football ground car parks, then it will be easy to target their vehicles and put a leaflet on them.
nowfree.
Hi Nowfree
I dont know how it would work but I know that at least one of the conventions on the SE coast uses NCP car parks which during use by the dubs are still open and used by the general public.
I would assume that you would have to get permission from the car operators/owners/council.
If it went ahead I dont see how the JW bouncers could go and remove fliers from cars that could belong to anyone especially as they dont hire the car park per se, but just have a number of tickets allocated in several car parks throughout the area.
Maybe others would know more about this.
