welcome to JWD.
I have no problems with others peoples beliefs as long as they dont impact on others lives and cause harm.
As for me - I believe in now, I can see it, feel it and maybe influence it for the better if necessary for those around me.
If there is a supreme being in any shape or form they know my history and what makes me what I am, I have nothing else to work with in a "spiritual" sense.

im sitting here today thinking:.
"my daughter should have had open heart surgery years ago and she would have been too young to know anything about it.
instead, she is about to face it now....the surgeons were relectant to do it when we were jws and she was so young.

i've been 'lurking' on this discussion board for ages, but not posted until now - finally thought i'd go for it and post something myself!
i've chosen gypsy tart as my alias not because i'm a gypsy (i'm not), or a tart (not all the time lol) but because i love gypsy tart it's my v favourite pud ever!
i did think of calling myself 'hovisbiscuit' because that's what the other kids at school would call me (along with 'oh look it's a hova') whilst they all filed into assembly.

Hi Blues Brother I do remember David Carter and he was making jokes and calling the sisters "flower" and "petal" from the platform when I last saw him, and that was at the Assembly Hall and not just the local KH. He would even have impromptu Q/A had a CA. Dont know if he is still around?

if you ever travel i-75 through london kentucky, stop off at the shell station at exit 38. on the back side of the building beside the payphones there is a brochure rack for truckers, there are always watchtowers and awakes laying around.
i hit the jackpot on saturday when i was traveling north to dayton, i found a total of 8 different watchtower and awakes, i promptly removed them all.
this has been a tradition for me for the past few years.
I took a pile of about 50 mags and brochures from a fish and chip shop in north Devon last year having first asked the person behind the counter if anyone wanted them - no one did.
My son did look a bit puzzled as i staggered back to the car with fish and chips for 4 and all the nag mags lol.
