i really like this board.
i hate making this statement bec i dont want you to all start hating me.
but since i came on here i have been researching a lot.
Of course they are "right" (maybe plausible would be a better word).
All religions have to have a little bit of "right" or no one would listen to them.
Doesnt mean that all they utter is good, true or morally acceptable.

i am not posting this to justify my actions, i am doing so for the benifit of any witnesses who are unsure about there feelings toward the "truth".
i was a reguler pioneer for about 8 yrs, back when it was 100 hours a month, befor thet i did a couple of yrs as a vacation pioneer, they later changed the name to auxilery pioneer, and during the following 20 yrs i had a few intermitant spells as an auxilery when i had time to.
during my pioneer years i have given talks at circuit assemblies and had assignments at district assemblies .

Kept saying yes, yes, yes as we (other half as well) read your post. It is very hard to explain all the conniving/back biting thats goes on behind the scenes to those who where either only in a few years or kept to the edge of the cong.

i have a son aged 19. he's a bit of a handsome devil at the best of times and the young ladies have always been ... how can i put it nicely.... fond of him.
but having said that he's always very friendly with everyone.
we used to go to a congregation a few miles from where we live now when he was a tiny child and he was friendly with the kids there.

I'd give gentle information if she asks. I would also to VERY careful about your son and how involved he is with her. Her family will put enormous pressure on her and he could be left feeling very used and hurt.

according to the information i've found online the last posting day for standard parcels is dec 11th for usa and december 15th for the uk/europe, so you should all have plenty of time to select and send a gift, although sending sooner rather than later is prefered.
can everyone taking part post on this thread what things they like, what their interests are etc so that the person who is buying a gift for you has some idea what to get you.
