by startingover insomething occurred to me while i was reading the promiscuous sex thread.
the wt always refers to masturbation as self abuse.
i googled it and came up with many sites that linked it to cutting oneself, but only a couple that linked those words to masturbation, one being a site about sda prophetess ellen white, and the other some religious site.. of course if you type in self pleasure then you get the masturbation links.

Do you charge your 18+ kids rent?
by tall penguin ini've been wondering what people think about this.
as soon as i turned 18 and had an income (it was disability but income just the same) my parents began to charge me room and board.
is this common practice?

Not rent exactly, but I do make them throw some in the pot for food, phone, etc. I helped them both get their first cars, but after that they are on their own. They have to pay for car, insurance, any bills they make, etc.
They help out with the yard, buying groceries, & most importantly with the DOG.
They are responsible for their laundry, most of the time...

If they rebuild a house for a witness, then they have them sign a document stating that they will turn over the insurance check to them. All of it! They (WTBS) may spend $50,000.00 to build a house worth $100,000.00 and they would take the check for the insurance payment of $100,000.00. So instead of the family getting a break, they get the break. This money could be used for the family to buy new furniture, clothes, etc., but instead the WTBS gets it. Such a loving organization. (The labor is free, materials sometimes are donated, so it makes a person wonder if they pocket most of it.)

This paragraph speaks volumes! If the needs (Literature, meetings, etc.) have been met locally, then they use the money wherever they want. They don't like anyone CONTROLLING them!!! Get with the program everybody and start writing your checks out properly, to Mother, and she will do whatever she wants with YOUR money!

Steve is entertaining to watch! We watch his show just to get a laugh sometimes. He is on the late night talk shows here every few months and brings some of his animals on there. He was on The Tonight Show/Jay Leno 2 weeks ago and had Jay holding a 30 ft python! Then of couse you can catch him regularly on Animal Planet. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
So do you ride (horses) a lot there? Sounds like a good place to. Now go have a beer, you've worked for it!
