you have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.... here is one of my most embarassing moments.. i was in 7th grade and also the new kid in school.
this happened during one of our first big test's, i think it was my english glass but i am not sure.. i had bad gas for some reason that day and had been holding it in instead of "dusting the crops" in the hallways (which is a great way to shed your gas without having to claim it).
i am sitting in class trying to concentrate on the test while holding in my deadly gas with all the strength my buttcheeks could muster.

well the sh*t has finally hit the fan now.
it seems that several families in the neillsville / marshfield area have received packages with apostatetm material enclosed.
at the service meeting last thursday night in two (count them) two congregations the elders have announced that a mail fraud scheme is in the area with packages arriving at publishers homes.
That's great to hear!!! Some in our local hall got fliers on their windshields during a meeting!

watchtower money serves two purposes: to protest the policies of jehovah's witnesses and educate the public about the hidden side of the watchtower society.
consider this a sophisticated form of guerilla protest and awareness campaign.
each bill or check is designed to get the attention of the beholder and quickly provide information.
What a great idea!!! I would love to go to an assembly just to put some in the contribution boxes!!!

i know i'm telling you guys this a bit late, but i really needed to let it sink in.
we told my parents about the baby sooner than we had planned.
we told them last friday.
Nos...if it's any consolation, one set of my kid's grandparents never have any contact with them. In return, they don't recognize them or even call them grandma or grandpa. If they do run into them, they call them by their first names!!! It hurt my husband way more than it did me (they were his parents). I just accepted it and never looked back! They were the ones missing out...it's funny, but my 2 sons NEVER even bring it up! We gave our kids all they needed, but my mom was a SUPER grandparent to them and they were happy with that!

dear friends and fellow sojourners,.
as i posted sometime back, i have been grappling with my last fear from the wtbts--that is, saying good-bye to my mother and brother who are still in the organization by revealing that not only have i left but am now what they consider an apostate.
it has come to me, that i must do this to be finally free of the last vestiges of "hold" that the organization still has on me.
How sad...another broken family!!! Did you ever discuss any of the issues with your brother/family? I wish you the best...life can be a hard road to travel!

well, i've decided to try my hand at a different type of writing.
my atheist's book of bible stories is nearly complete, so i thought i would write the epic masterpiece history of my family, from the time that they came to canada until today.
i am calling the book "east of edenwold" (which is a small town in saskatchewan).
To carry the load, my father bought a roof rack and made a large plywood box to ride on the roof of our 1969 Ford Custom 500. I must pause for a moment and offer my hearty congratulations to Henry Ford and his children. I have seen trucks that couldn’t handle the load and stress that that car too
I'm still laughing!!! That sounds very similiar to the trip we took to NY/Yankee Stadium!!! God was that HOT and BORING! But I was so excited about going to NY that I was willing to endure anything!
Thanks for the story and the laughs...

men want 'say' in unplanned pregnancyactivists seek right to decline financial responsibility for kids.
new york (ap) -- contending that women have more options than they do in the event of an unintended pregnancy, men's rights activists are mounting a long shot legal campaign aimed at giving them the chance to opt out of financial responsibility for raising a child.. the national center for men has prepared a lawsuit -- nicknamed roe v. wade for men -- to be filed thursday in u.s. district court in michigan on behalf of a 25-year-old computer programmer ordered to pay child support for his ex-girlfriend's daughter.. the suit addresses the issue of male reproductive rights, contending that lack of such rights violates the u.s. constitution's equal protection clause.. the gist of the argument: if a pregnant woman can choose among abortion, adoption or raising a child, a man involved in an unintended pregnancy should have the choice of declining the financial responsibilities of fatherhood.
Oh and btw, when i have sex now. I make sure she is on the pill, wearing a diaphram, uses spermicidal foam and i wear a condom..when its time, i pull out leap from the bed then run out of the room thru the front door and down the street and drop my deposit into a can of gas and light a match. Then, I run back with limpy waggin in the wind and grab the lucky girl and drive her to the drug store, steering clear of the still burning can of man batter, and buy 4 bottles of the morning after pill and force feed her all the contents..including the plastic bottles. Then drive home to my sperm voodoo dolls and start stabbin those little bastards while I cry myself to sleep.
LMAO!!! This is a SMART MAN!!!
All of us probably have stories to tell...I found myself pregnant and I was taking the Pill.. Abortion was not an option nor even considered. Yes, I gave up a lot of things in life that I could have done/had, but guess what? This precious little bundle did more to GIVE me a life than anything else ever could have. He's 30 yrs old and I count my blessings every day that this wonderful man is in my life. Having him is like having the sun shine every day. I don't know if I would be here today if not for him in my life.
I never planned on having children!!! It wasn't my goal in life to even have any kids, but when I did, I adjusted and stepped right up to being the best Mom that I could.
And yes, I'd throw myself in the alligator pond and get run over by a semi and endure the worst tortures on earth...well, you get the picture!

i found this web site while researching jws (my immediate family on my dad's side is jw, except for my dad, who was subjected to the programming from birth, and who seems to be caught in some strange world between the jw world and the real one).. for the most part, these are decent, kind, loving people.
the only problem is that they are jws!.
i myself am atheist, so in theory i should them to be atheist also, but i'd gladly settle for steering them into a different form of christianity.. anything but jw.
Hello, new guy!!! Welcome and join in!
