I'm 90% PIMO but events in Russia made me stop and think maybe Jehovah is real and helping

i'm at the stage where i'd love a big scandal to come along showing clearly that the j.w's are not the true religion, but sometimes i get touched inside by various thoughts or events, the russian court trial being one of them.. i mean, j.w's are understandably fixated with attending the memorial, so why didn't the court say it will resume on monday or tuesday, instead setting wednesday 12 april as the date?

part of me believes the comments from pro-j.w's that jehovah moved events so they could attend the memorial.. it seems the j.w's will not be banned, which makes my mind and heart wrestle between thinking jah's behind it, or maybe the ministry of justice is just woefully prepared compared to the superb australian royal commission team who did their homework.

it surprises me the russians seemingly haven't done any homework..

Christianity has caused FAR more damage worldwide and throughout history than Islam. It is the single most detrimental religion on earth, and you all know it. Literally BILLIONS of people worldwide have been violently forced to convert, forced into slavery, or were slaughtered in the name of Christianity. Do your research. Your precious Bible tells us to brutally stone adulterers and rape victims to death, and encourages warmongers to kill a woman's entire family and abduct her as a "bride" (i.e. sex slave). How dare you think you're any better than Muslims! YOUR religion has done far, far, far worse than theirs! Just admit it already!

Funny how you love to bitch about how horrible the JWs are, yet many of you are far, far worse. Ironically, JWs aren't ignorant bigots like you. They don't judge all members of a group based on the actions of one. They welcome everyone, including Muslims. Yeah, I disagree with most of their policies, but you people have no right to call the kettle black.

Many of you were once JWs yourselves. Have you forgotten how bad it was? How ALL JWs follow the same bullshit rules that ruin lives, while only a tiny fraction of Muslims are terrorists? How would you like it if random strangers hated YOU just because your former religion condones shunning and letting babies die by refusing them blood? Would YOU like to be blamed for all the damage JWs cause?

Another family needlessly torn apart

i'm feeling very angry tonight as i watched my mother in law end her relationship with my husband, her son, tonight.

we were happily inactive, enjoying a distant but decent relationship with my in laws until they saw some christmas decorations and everything changed.

i spent two hours getting drilled on whether my husband and i celebrate holidays, to be told that my laws won't socialize with us anymore.

Since the Memorial is coming up, suggest to your husband that he should partake. Once word gets out that your husband is anointed, it will be one hell of a shock for his mother! And he can tell her that, when he had his "vision" or whatever it is that tells someone they're anointed, God didn't say one word to him about holidays. The Watchtower society has no qualms with lying to the sheeple, so he shouldn't feel guilty doing the same. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

I Have A Question About A Dog

i would like to have your opinion on something if you don't mind.

my girlfriends dog, a scottish terrier, is a wonderful lovable dog about fiveyears old.

my girlfriend owns a hair salon and takes her dog with her and the dog greets clients very lovingly.

I imagine most, if not all, of the clientele in the salon are women, and you said the dog barks at men who walk by? Sometimes a dog, male or female, will only bark at men. I've seen this before. It usually means they were abused exclusively by men.
