The next "new light" will be that most the people killed at Armageddon will be resurrected. I was all a big joke and Jehovah will give almost everybody a second chance.
That is actually what I have been told by every JW I've ever spoken to on the matter. I have never met one who told me only JW's would survive, and nearly all of them said that even people like Hitler would be given a second chance.

Movies that make you cry?
by new boy inthere have been many but i had a total melt down at the end of sophie's choice.
i hadn't cried in years before i saw that movie in in 1982. i was still very much a jw at the time.
i have no idea where the pain and sorrow came from, maybe it was the fact there are things people have gone through that we have defied all reason logic.

Increase in Second Sealings for the Anointed?

i heard her say that most anointed people only receive it shortly before death, if they receive it at all.
she went on to say that she has been hearing about several other anointed people receiving theirs recently and not dying afterward.

She went on to say that she has been hearing about several other anointed people receiving theirs recently and NOT dying afterward.
As I understand it, the second sealing is supposed to be confirmation that an anointed person has proven themselves worthy and will be going to heaven for sure. My roommate sees the sudden increase in second sealings as (further) evidence that the Big A is nearly upon us.
I have never heard of the second sealing before I overheard her conversation, so my question is, what does everyone here know about it? And have you also heard anything about this lately? -

Getting Remarried after a spouses death & then they are resurrected after Armageddon ?

i was wondering about the above , if a jw is allowed to remarry if a spouse has died, then what happens when they are resurrected at armageddon, do u land up with two wives/husbands ,,,,,,, makes no sense to me & can the jw's be so dumb not to think about this or have i got it wrong ?
and i will not be asking my uber jw husband , don't have the energy.. thanks.

My JW roommate and I were just discussing some sweepstakes the other day that offered a prize vacation to anywhere in the US the winner wants to go, and she said if she could go anywhere, it would be to Warwick so she could visit Bethel.
Why do these people always equate a trip to Bethel to a pilgrimage to the Holy Land? I mean, I get that that's pretty much how they see it, but how do they NOT see that it is a blatant example of idolatry? -_- -

I literally cannot even begin to understand why anyone who is not an absolute ignorant bigot could possibly support him. Why do you people willingly turn a blind eye to all of his childish Twitter rants and victim blaming and racist/sexist remarks and detrimental executive orders if you're not as full of hate as he is?
Name ONE thing he has actually done (not promised to do but has DONE) that outweighs all of the horrible, despicable, embarrassingly immature things he has said since the campaign trail. You can't, because there is NOTHING that excuses such a blatantly awful human being. Why can't you tRump supporters just admit you're on the wrong side of history and bow out with a modicum of grace?
Seriously, if he's so damn great, then by your own standards, you should have liked every single other president, even Obama.
