  Circuit Overseer Visit....not interested

  last night was the first meeting of the circuit overseers visit.

  i didnt go, but i know (because of a call from an elder about two weeks ago) that they are going to visit me this week.

  Many people do not show affection- why is this?

  why cannot a father who loves his daughter deeply...........ever hug her and tell her how much he loves her?.

  For me, that is a little too simplistic.........

  There is WAY too much damage that has been done to me....

  I am so scared....ALL the time.........

  ANY decision is too hard because the JW "speak" is always in my head.......

  Going to court.... I need info/advice please...

  i haven't been real active here lately, but some might remember that i am going through a divorce with my ex, which, it seems will have to be terminated at a trial.

  she is technically still a jw.... (not df'd but she publically despises the religion).. and her mother is a regular pioneer.

  my ex is continuing to allow her mother to have a lot of influence over my kids, including that i recently found out that my oldest (of four) son's exercise book (that goes to school showing what he has been reading at home) had almost all the entries being from their, "greatest man who ever lived" book.

  It shows JW parents how to teach their children to LIE in court.

  It makes me sick.........

  Wow, Billygoat - you hit the nail right on the head......

  For me, forgiveness is a CHOICE not a FEELING. And, to me, the word forgiveness implies letting the "offender" off the hook.

  As far as I am concerned, the WTBTS does not deserve to be let off the hook, nor do the ones who hurt me, due to their involvement in the WTBTS, deserve to be let off the hook. And that is because not only are they not "sorry", but they CONTINUE to hurt and destroy many.

  To me, that is totally unacceptable AND unforgivable.
