LOL @ Popeoferuke. You're scaring me, I'll be sure not to have guests over when I open the bottle. It is Australian and it's not really white, it's pink. But they call it White Shiraz and since I like Australian Shiraz so much, I thought it was worth a try.
I don't think we can get the one Ozziepost is recommending. But I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for it.

These two scriptures contradict each other in principle therefore, unless God has two sets of scales, one of these scriptures is a big fat lie. Considering the attrocities that have been heaped on millions of people because of the 1 Tim. statement, I vote for it.

Has anyone here ever tried a White Shiraz? I just bought a bottle but it's been too hot to cook a meal worthy of opening it for.

I wouldn't mention the question about whether or not it's the truth right at the top. The majority of JWs would stop reading right there. Could you word it so that a few nagging questions get planted in their brain before they realize that it's "apostate"?

i had a door-to-door visit from two jws yesterday morning.
the first in a long time (with the exception of the obligatory memorial invite).
i live in a fairly small town, but these two, i did not recognize.
We drove past the KH this morning and marvelled at the small number of cars there. There used to be two congregations in this area. A country one and a town one. About 15 years ago they merged the two and built a new hall. It looks like they have about the same attendance right now as the little KH in the country used to have.

i have been a part of jwd since 2001, i think...........lol........i thank simon that there are such forums, as his, for those whole leave the wts.
anyways, maybe "joe" and his wife will be lurkers for awhile, and maybe they will never post, but, for the record, they are victims of the wts as most of us are, here.

i can't think of any myself, no doctors, lawyers, business owners (i mean medium to big business, not just one guy cleaning windows, etc).
Yes, I knew one who was a Medical Doctor, one who was a Chiropractor, a few who were architects and engineers, etc., etc. There was one who was a lawyer, but he got caught pilferring trust funds.

let me tell you i love you all ...i have been so respected by you all & shown much unconditional love..... i know many have my home e-mail..... so if any want to - they know what to do.. i have been on here a long time.... gus,gus ( my wonderful daughter still posts on occasions.
