  The grandson i never got to know

  lately there has been threads on family members passing and each time i read them it bring up my grandson devon.

  i think of him often but these sad threads of family dieing makes me wonder what he would look like ,what his interest would be.

  he would have been 7 the first of march but it was not to be.

  Jehovahs Witnesses who shun family - please read this

  why do you shun your family members who have chosen to leave jehovah's witnesses (jws)?.

  i am asking this question because i am personally so hurt by the attitude of my jw family toward me now that i'm not attending the meetings.

  i've chosen another religious path.

  Well Hi everyone!!! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jasmin I live in Phoneix Arizona originally from San Diego, I was raise a witness and at 16 I ran away from home and never looked back. I was nevered baptized but was a publisher. I'm so excited to find a place were people can understand the way I was raised, and all the crazy Sh*t that goes alone with a JW house hold.

  i was brought up in the "truth" for over 30 years, mum was too, dad in it since a teenager, they were pioneers, i pioneered, ive left, managed not to be disfellowshipped, i dont believe it, but i love my parents, theyre nice people, victims too, how do i not take it out on them, i have a drink in my hand its how im starting to cope, its hard to deal with right?

  am i normal or am i crazy?

  i couldnt buy a xmas tree, the guilt, i look over my shoulder every time i buy a birthday card, if i meet an elder i feel frightened and guilty - but i dont believe it!

  I really understand and I think all of us do. I remember the first christmas tree I bought, my girlfriend who was still a JW came over and I picked up the tree and hide it in the closet because I felt guilty that I had it, damn pine needles were everywhere. Really it will pass, I promise.
