Why do Jehovah's Witnesses contemplate suicide?

a problem common among jehovah's witnesses is the feeling that they are not going to make it to live past armageddon.

even though they keep a rigorous schedule of activities designed to earn them a righteous standing with jehovah, the witnesses themselves are keenly aware that they fall far short of the perfect standard set by god.. why do so many jehovah's witnesses consider suicide at one time or another?

I do believe there is a connection. After having read even more on the other related threads about CTR, and knowing the similarities in personalities of he and my dad, it must have been a tribute to either he and/or WBTS and his devotion to same. With the taking of his own life, I find it even more troubling to see it standing in the yard, knowing what the borg did to his mind.

After 5 years, a letter...Beware the Voice of Strangers

after 3 attempts, i finally have a letter that i might actually mail to my mom.

i think it's funny that she will get my letter at the same time she is studying the "beware" wt article.

think she'll make something of it??.

bem ~ good idea, but the only goats allowed are the residents as it is a senior community! (no offense to seniors, I love 'em)

Corvin - now we know where that pioneer sister spent her mornings when she went on r.v.'s by herself.....

CG ~ I figured most would think the dog was buried under it - but, there was never a pet in the home as that was too much of a "responsibility" and couldn't be fit in around the JW life's schedule

Lady Lee ~ who knows? We're talking about the man that followed the "guidelines set forth" on all minutia of WTS thought, was a zealot preacher of the good news of the downfall of this system on a daily basis, and builds this? Previously to JW, he had been a Mason....?
