i believe that if they decide to have it, there's nothing legallyspeaking, that you can do to thwart it.. what's your opinion??

I am all for harrassing the elder body. I personally don't care whether I win or lose in a court of law. I would use the legal system to, at the least, let the individual elders
feel the heat a little bit. It is a POSSIBILITY that they can lose against you. It is a POSSIBILITY that defending themselves could bankrupt them. You think their wives wouldn't worry them to death?
Give them hell, that's my position. Make them feel the heat.

I think we should pitch in to the Solar Extinguishing and Earth Inhabitant Relocation Fund. In a billion years or so the sun will burn out. If we start saving now, we can have enough money for the research and tools necessary for future generations to find alternative habitable planets or solar systems with near Earth-like planets that they can somehow colonize. I think we all owe it to future generations. I volunteer to be the custodian of the fund.

The WTS response has always been that these decisions are INDIVIDUAL ones. So, the guy accepted the consequences, no one forced him to violate his conscience.
It is a tragedy any way you look at it. BUT, he made a choice.... maybe he should have thought more of the prospect of leaving his wife an indigent and less about his propects
for "paradise." This religion is sickening.

Yep, it's Chuck Woody. MEt him a few times but never got a warm fuzzy feeling. Nonkes seemed very caring to me, very human. I'm sure the beleive every bit of what they say.
