  OK. So a machine takes your blood, "washes it", dilutes it with saline (all while in the machine) and THEN reintroduces this new fluid containing your own blood back

  into your own body. That's OK. But giving your own blood weeks in advance of a surgery and having it stored in a machine (a fridge's a machine, right) and then

  reintroducing it into your own body, that's not OK.

  It's all so clear.

  The whole JW issue about neutrality is wrong on its face. Jesus did not teach or advocate neutrality. He taught to love your enemies and to pray for them. That isn't being neutral,

  it is being active. You cannot attempt to make friends of your enemies by doing nothing. You have to do something GOOD for them. You have to talk, engage in dialogue.

  I do not believe, however, that Jesus wanted people to allow evil to go unchecked. And some on Earth have been evil. Do you just allow the evil to destroy the good, even

  after repeated attempts at winning them over as friends? I don't believe so. Christianity isn't a suicide pact. And if an individual Christian can defend his life or the

  life of those he loves and is left no option but to use deadly force, will God judge him adversely? I do not think so. So then, what applies to an individual would apply to a community, and

  then to a State.

  One of my best friends grew up in the South in a very segregated small town. He remembers when he had to go to the "black" congregation and the rest

  of the JW's met at the "white" congregation. This is something the WTS doesn't remind their members of. When I went to Pioneer Service School, the DO ( who

  is black) was instructing on "nuetrality." He gets to the part of segregation. The Illuminators Book and the DO were quite adamant that if the law of the land were

  "blacks over here" and "whites over there", then the Org. would comply. He was peppered by more than a few younger people in the class with questions

  about fairness, justice, etc... It seemed very incongrous to me to preach that we are all brothers, to beat our chests about how we treat all men equally because all

  men are equal in God's sight, and yet make a calculated, politically EXPEDIENT decision to publicly treat others differently based on race so as not to rock the boat of

  whatever country you live in. That was one more crack in the permafrost of my JW indoctrinated brain.

  THE WTS does, not what is right, but what is expedient.

  My friend mentioned above, a long time elder, let's NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, put Dr. King down.

  i am reading the bible for the first time.

  i was df'd in 1976 and lived my whole life thinking the jws have the truth and i just could not live up to the standard and was doomed to die at the big a without question.

  until i found jwd 31 years later.

  faith in God after finding the truth about the truth, is in fact what i beleive is the unequivacable nature of God found described in ANY translation in no uncertain terms, and

  that is this: He that does not love does not know God, because God IS LOVE.

  Installment # 5 - Post-Armageddon Years

  high speed fighters sometimes employ a technique called terrain masking, a form of aerial maneuver intended to prevent anti-aircraft weaponry from focus and destruction of the airplane.

  basically the pilot keeps the plane very low in altitude and shapes his flight, hugging hills and dales, with the hope that the enemy is not able to focus for long enough on the target to destroy it.

  planes flying at operational altitudes are in the sights of the enemy for a long time, relatively speaking, but those flying close-to-ground altitudes reduce the effective sighting to but a fraction of that time.. in my view, and looking back, this is what the watchtower society did following its colossal failure with the 1975 predictions.

  The pain the WTS inflicts is like that of a lover, isn't it? You love and love, give your life, your trust, your future, your dreams---- all to find out your lover has never cared for

  you at all, and all the years were spent on someone who despised you, cheated on you, used you, and humiliated you.

  I don't feel like anyone is on to me. They all know that I am on to them, though. They're the ones not wearing any clothes.

  I don't worry about it either way. Love in the WT Org. is just as mythical as the FDS doctrine and as invisible as the Kingdom.
