The JWs don't believe in the "traditional" rapture that is "all christians" will simply disappear from the earth. So Cant leave I think you are mixing apples and oranges to make the JWs look bad. That is like saying just because Born Agains believe in the bodily reserrection of Jesus that they are like Mormons who believe God is a man of flesh and bone. Similarities in a doctrine does not make it belief in the doctrine. I wish ex-jws just tell the truth and not use "word" games to make a point. If the JWs are teaching falsehoods like them hang themselves. JWs have always that I am aware of taught that the "annoited" might still have some on earth after Armaggeddon to usher in the new world. They have speculated and have always said it is not "dogmatic" just their opinion. It is amazing how I read on this board how some ex-jws use a eye catching phrase to get the attention of posters but condemn JWs when they do the same thing.

Please clear up a confusion I have Do Christians believe that the AntiChrist will be Satan the Devil in human form?
by booker-t infor years i have been told different scenarios from different christian groups about who the antichrist will be.
some born agains have told me that the antichrist will be satan the devil stripped of all his powers and trapped in a human body on earth.
he will still have the same attitude and try to get people to worship him instead of jehovah and jesus.

Some Born Agains have told me that the AntiChrist will be Satan the Devil stripped of all his powers and trapped in a human body on earth. He will still have the same attitude and try to get people to worship him instead of Jehovah and Jesus. People will fall victim and worship the Devil and be fooled by him. But if my memory serves me correct does not the Bible teaches us that Satan and the demons will be in the "abyss" for a 1000 years unable to do anything? And if Satan is a human being will he eat food, drink water, sleep, get ill just like all humans? Something does not make sense with this interpretation.

i use to work for a woman that reminds me of paula deen.

ShirleyW. that is so true. I remember watching a program that had the KKK on its panel. And one of the Klansmen was an attorney and he said "I will help a black man as a client but I would never invite a black person into my house". So some white people will only associate with a black person as long as it is business and not personal. I am glad this Paula Deen scandal came to light because many black people I know thinks racism is dead and buried and that is far from the truth. Many white people cannot outright be racist for fear or losing their jobs or being sued in court but the closet racism still exist.

I was cheering Wendy Williams on when I saw her on ET calling Paula Deen to the carpet for her use of racial slurs. I use to work for a woman that reminds me of Paula Deen. She was s Caucasian woman her mid 60s and she was raised in Georgia and she constantly would make racial jokes and do racial jestures in front of me. My boss "Ms Barbara" would see an Asian employee walk by and slant her eyes and burst out laughing. She one day told me "booker why are black women so loose they will sleep with any man in a pair of pants" I could not believe she was saying this to me in the year 1992 and I was in my late 20s and a black man. I went home very upset but tried to explain away my supervisors comments. I did not want to make any waves back then I was new on the job and I was her administrative assistant. I would reason in my head she could not be a "racist" and have a black man as an assistant. After 3 years of these racist comments and jokes I had had enough. But before I could write her up an Asian and a black employee wrote her up for racism. She came out of the company trial crying like a baby apologizing left and right. She actually had the nerve to say to me after her trial "booker I am not a racist my boyfriend is Mexican. Fast foward to 2013 I am now 50 years old and I would not tolerate any kind of racial jokes, jestures or comments from white or black or Hispanic or Asian people. People need to be treated with dignity and respect and I try to teach my young nieces and nephews this principle. Since I am close to getting my Psychology/Therapist Masters degree I now realize some racist people are in so much denial about their racism. Everybody can slip and make a mistake but to continue making the same mistake over and over again then it becomes plain and simple you are a "racist". So Paula Deen needs to admit she is a "racist" and accept it and try to change.

There probably were maybe a million people back then on the earth maybe half of them were "babies" and Jehovah had to have felt something watching those babies drown a slow and horrible death. I don't care what religion you want to believe JWs, Born Agains, Mormons, Islam, Muslam, etc; How could a God of love watch thousands and thousands of babies drown and die a horrible death? I could not watch my worst enemy suffer or drown let alone an innocent baby. Posters what are your thoughts on this question and please no "Watchtower" bashing this question has nothing to do with JWs or Born Agains but with Almighty God. I know many people have said Jehovah God has a "split" personality.

Wasalender-Once I totally agree with you on the point "JW" girls might do the same thing as far as sleeping with a guy they first meet. I realized before I left JWs that they "brainwash" you to believe that JWs are "perfect" and little angels. When I left I saw things so clearly and I realized JWs are just as bad as the rest of the world. They elevate themselves above the rest of the world and try to instill in JWs that the world is dirty, sinful, and full of degenarates. I totally bought into that as a JWs. I remember when I first left the JWs I went to college and one of my classmates was a JWs pioneer young woman. She was very pretty and obviously very sexual. She would talk with non-jws classmates of ours about men, men, and more men. She always wanted her friends to "hook" her up with this guy or that guy. One day I decided to knock her off her pedistal and asked her what Kingdom Hall she went to. She asked me why did I want to know and I told her I was going to report her to her elders for "conduct unbecoming of a Christian" she almost turned blue from the shock that maybe another JW was in the room and could report her. JWs act totally different when they think there is no other JWs in the room but when they know a JWs is in the room they act on their "best" behavior. She dropped out of our class and I never saw her again. I was so glad she dropped because I just cannot stand a phoney JWs.

At first I just thought maybe he was joking but it has been 2 years now and he is getting worse. I get mad and I am not Hispanic but I work around alot of Hispanics and there is no problem. I just don't know what is wrong with my co-worker. The funny thing about it is he is Hispanic and he feels this gives him a liscense to bad mouth Latino people. The other day he talked so bad about Hispanics saying "All those Mexicans worshipping the Pope and child abusers in the Catholic Church" I am at a lost on how to handle this situation. Since I am not Hispanic should I just keep my mouth shut or should I complain to the supervisor? He brings his bible everyday to work and is always talking about church.

At least this way they can have no problem in identifying Jesus with the Alpha and Omega.

"Three or even four generations may be living at the same time, their lives "overlapping".(Ps 78:4; 145:4). So Pres Knorr probably worried back then times was running out and maybe he toyed with the overlapping generation theory to buy more time. But instead shifted the concern on 1975 and the overlapping theory got put on the back burner until 2010.
