he make me soooo angry, but i never let it show because he would like that, the psycho.

he seems to get disapointed when he can't get me all shook up.

what are your all time favorite songs, any category, 50's through today.

i need to burn some discs for my next road trip, the one i just returned from was pretty boring, and disappointing music on the radio!

he had a blast, and later that day we ran into an elder and his wife (very judgemental people, even for jw's) and he blurted out that he had been to a friends birthday party.

it was all i could do not to crack up!

you shoulda seen the looks on their faces.

For those with family in the org...

...have they justified the un involvement to you by saying that the wts was only getting information for their magazines, that they weren't "aiding" them in their political work, so the involvement was ok?.

imo, there is no justification for the un invovement.

how do you reason with your family when they defend the actions of the wts?

Doctrine or Scripture?

my h and i are generally good at avoiding the subject, but the other day we got into a "debate" about the "truth".

anyway, he gave a few reasons why he believes the jws have the "truth" such as the scripture that says "it is better to not have known the truth at all than have known the truth and walked away".

okay, at the time i was too upset to think rationally and say, "okay, which scripture would that be?

How does the WTS reconcile Matthew 10:22?

every time i read this all i can think is "then why don't they call themselves jesus' witnesses?

" has anyone else wondered this or know how the wts's response to this?
