When a group of men sitting in New York ignore scriptures that say put mercy first and instead let loved ones bleed to death based on that ignoring of the balancing scriptures, it is wrongful death - murder.
Russia is correct to ban a group that preaches murder. We love many of the people who are JWs but such unlawful deeds as murder and covering up of child molestors is criminal, and for this the Governing Body and their toad frog elders are 100% guilty.

given the topicality of the passion of the christ, it got me thinking again about the manner of his death... i had always been led to believe , in my days as a dub , that death on a stake was far more likely and logical because to be suspended with spread arms would place too much centre of gravity in the centre and the body would pitch forward.. given that jesus took several hours to die, i found the following quote from .the above site interesting ..

jehovah's witnesses have explained many times at the memorial's why they celebrate a day before the jewish people celebrate passover.
i do of course understand that tech, the jews are celebrating a different holiday than jws.

Throughout Africa there are groups that split off from the Watchtower Society dating back to the late 1800's and which are called part of the Watchtower Movement, often confused with the modern Watchtower Society of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Perhaps the largest and most successful is the God's Kingdom Service group headquartered in Nigeria in West Africa, but many splinter groups are also found in East Africa. Most preach God, named Jehovah, wants earth to become paradise which the meek will inherit.
But many allow local views and some Old Testament examples of polygamy to hold sway, so that men can marry more than one woman. Also women are not given as much freedom as with Jehovah's Witnesses, in most cases.
