  We need solid advice from former Elders

  almost unbelievably after 4 years of staying away from the hall and the jws last week they called and said there were allegations of apostasy against us.

  we have been very quiet about our feelings and so were very surprised and angered.

  we were told that they were going to discuss the allegation and determine if we would be formally accused of apostasy.

  I have never been through an apeals case before so I don't know what to say.

  I feel for you and know how horrible it must be for you.

  Tha only advice I can give is keep your own opinions close to you and just let them know that although you are having doubts you have never discussed theese with members of the congregation. The email that your wife sent to her father was not to try and sway him but just explaining your doubts.

  I have no idea what else to say but that I'm thinking of you and hope all goes well.

  Hopefully some ex elders will be able to give you some more helpful advice.

  i'm cooking a leg of lamb for tea tonight.

  yum.

  i just love roast lamb and the smell it creates through the house while it's cooking.. we don't eat much, just me and two little kids, and there will be heaps of left overs so who's coming to help us eat it all?.

  Therapy works for both me and my mother. You need to find a good one.

  You basically sit around and talk, they often ask questions that make you look at stuff from a different perspective.

  Definately recomend it.

  You're Vietnam! After years of muddling through on your own, you've finally repaired yourself to a point of respectability. You would have been much better off had people you didn't like not kept insisting on spending so much time with you. But those times are fading quickly and these days you're pretty sure you won't get burned. Star power!

  I do crunchy roast potato, sweet potato, carrots in honey, peas and corn, lots or gravy made from the juices from the pan. Never made yorshire puddings, tell nina to bring the recipe.

  Shiraz sound great.

  Beer does too.

  Bring it on, who else is coming.

  I feel good

  after a couple of days away from the board and doing some hard thinking and contemplation about my life, and reading (though i'm not done yet and the conclusion may turn out to be a letdown) a fabulously insightful book called the courage to be, a funny thing has happened...i feel as sane, calm, and alive as i've felt in years, maybe ever.

  maybe this is a manic episode or something.

  probably not because i'm not really doing anything productive nor am i making any grandiose plans.

  Good on you, it feels great to start to get rid of old resentments and hostile feelings.

  I have a habit of doing the same.

  I hope you continue to feel this great.

  It's nice when we can get ris of our burdens and begin to feel whole again, I agree with kls i think the true you is begining to resurface.
