Whoa! Edited my message. Ummm no I didn't. I typed it once. Why do people on this board seem to think people would go through such extremes as to "troll" a board or change messages I don't know for maybe fear or whatever? HEEEEEELLLLLOOOO, it's a messageboard. You can't SEE me, or touch me.
But anyway, you make some good points despite. All of my questions are just that questions. It's not because I believe they were right or whatever. If I did I'd be baptized by now.

I don't know about inhumane but it's damn sure judgemental. THEIR reasoning behind it was to make that person miss their family and friends and show them that if you do wrong this is what you'll lose. If you do right you can have it all, so to speak. I look back at that and think WHAT JUDGEMENTAL ASSHOLES. Who the hell are you to tell me that I can't even TALK to my damn sister?!!! Shoot Jesus KNEW that Judas was going to betray him and yet he still talk to him! And get this, it was all because she married a "wordly" man that she got pregnant by! Now I could see if she didn't get married, but shoot they could have just said sit in the back.....man to hell with this. I get to upset and I'm about to type a hole into my keyboard. You get what I'm saying... peace.

First of all, I have noooooo problem sharing. But I'm not going to engage in arguments with mindless embeciles. The ones it applies to know who I'm talking to. Yeah I DO still see some truth in what they teach. And? But I've also grown up and become wise enough to formulate my own opinion and YES I have questions. If it matters TO ME then I'm going to ask. If someone shares the same viewpoint or would like to offer their intelligent, objective, non-judgemental opinion then so be it. But I'm NOT about to be insulted without a swift comeback.
And I do look forward to posting and chatting with more intelligent people on real issues, including my own.

Makes sense. But in hindsight I don't think that I would have considered joining a religion that would tear my family apart. That's one thing I'm bitter about. My sister was disfellowshipped and they told my mother she couldn't talk to her. For a while she listened, but by the time she realized it my sister had already resented her and put a rift in our family bigtime. Now if I could change that, I WOULD!

I'm glad you brought up the Jewish because that was going to be my next post. However I typed all this stuff about them and I got an error message. So I'll make this short. Could it be that the Jewish people are the chosen people?

I realize that as a child you had no choice, I mean now. Let's say you weren't brought up in the religion. Let's say they came to your door in the afternoon on Sunday, rather than Saturday morning...early....after you'd been waking up early all week for work...lol....Would you have listened to them and if you did would you be intrigued enough to learn more? That's what I'm asking.

Careful. These are objective questions. I'm merely asking to get opinions. It's not about what I think...BUUUUUUUUUUUT ...since you asked. Not fornicating, commiting adultery, defouling the human body, disassociating yourself from Pagan holidays (Pagans were gods = idolatry (wrong in the bible as well) and all of it's practices, in my opinion, is not "making up" rules.
