  News From Circuit Assembly

  my sister called this morning at the crack of dawn, to inform me of some info.. from the circuit assembly over this past weekend.i suppose this is new light.

  although she did not put it in those words.seems there is a new do in our .

  Am I damaging the silentlambs cause?

  one of the few unfounded (i think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that i have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.. i don't know quite what this is supposed to mean or what i'm suppoed to have done or whether it is anything more than just 'mud' flung by people who find it easier to criticise rather than actually do anything.. over the last year (is it?

  ) i've been happy to promote the silentlambs cause and have hosted links to bills site and vidoes / sound files of tv programmes, radio reports, photo's of the march etc... as well as providing a place for people to meet and arrange things.

  i hope it has been useful and helpful to at least some people.. if i have inadventantly held things up in some way then i unreservedly and wholeheartedly apologise.. all i can say is, i do my best and may not always get things right.

  Simon, I agree with what all have been saying. Your site has benefited so many to have the courage to not be silent. Don't listen to the disparaging comments of ignorant troublemakers. Your board gave me a place to come to to share my own story regarding abuse issues, and for the most part everyone here was very loving and supportive.

  Cats are ok, I had one for 22 years and loved him alot. I still have another one, but I think I am definitely more of a dog person. We have 2 pugs, an english bull dog and a yellow lab. They are all awesome. And not to change the subject but I am also very much an equestrian. I love horses. We own 3 and totally adore them. A horse is just so special because when you look into thier eyes it is like looking into your own soul.

  hi, i am so glad i found this support group for bad name affliction.my name is falafel biscuits, my husband gizzard would not let me keep my mainden name bun, i figured whats the difference between a biscuit and a bun?

  my dog fluffy and cat stinky don't seem to care they were put in the biscuit family.

  liver nose who rents our basement is just like family to us.

  It teaches intolerance. Isn't that a bias issue towards other religions? When it teaches the children to avoid being with others of a different race, creed, or religion?

  i can't say for certain that the two women who called at our door yesterday were jws but i would be incredibly surprised if they weren't.

  you know the witness walk, the bag, the clothes.

  the makeup ... everything about them screamed "witnesses".. so what did they want?.

  These women were most likely "interpreters" who sign at the meetings for deaf and when the go out in service they do "deaf territory". That means either they are actually conducting studies with deaf bible studies, or going on return visits from leads from other deaf, or they will even look for signs on the streets that say "caution, deaf child" , then try to find a deaf family in that area. I used to be very involved with the deaf in our congregation, and was the American Sign Language classes were taught in my home. We also had a deaf book study in our home for years, and there was an elder and some pioneers who learned sign langquage and the bookstudy was conducted in sign lanquage. We even had Bethelites come and teach. But yes, those women were not very informative to you as to what they were doing or from what organization they represented so they were definitely Witnesses doing deaf territory.

  i got into a discussion and it swung to the famous cong.

  i guess someone i know who is a mts got sent there to "help out"... the word on the street is that the "congregation was taken over by apostates"..."no one could trust anyone, and there was picketing around it".

  and something about the deed to the hall .

  Does anyone know if the CO in Louisville, Kentucky serves these mentioned congregations? The reason I ask is because before we went public with Bill Bowen and spoke out to the media we had stayed close with the CO who used to be in our circuit. Even in the years after he left we became "inactive", he and his wife continued to come and stay with use, even when our son was disfellowshipped and living in our home. He even ate at the table with our df'd son who was then around 20. I heard he recently was sent to Louisville, Kentucky. His name is Bill Gerity, and his wife Judy.
