I agree, Satanus. The man did some good things too. Unfortunately, in our society, many tend to focus on the negatives instead of taking the positives that the person also did into account. Of course there have been some inherently evil people to walk this Earth in the past, but I don't think that Mr. Chavez was one of those people, and as such, I personally wish him a peaceful rest.

I LOVE Mac and Cheese!!! I add a smidgen of Nutmeg to the cheese sauce which adds another dimension to the flavor, and everyone that has tried it loves it!
Mac and cheese is good as a main course, and is equally good as a side dish, especially when it is served with chicken and a healthy dose of collard, turnip or mustard greens on the side. The flavors go so well together.
Mac and cheese is one of the greatest comfort foods in the good 'ol USA, and now I know what to make for dinner-lol

I was raised being told that the New System would come before I ever graduated High School. I used to believe it with my whole heart. Last year I got an email for my 30 year High School reunion, and it brought back all of the memories of how I felt believing that the end was just moments away back then, and what a fool I was for believing it.
Back in the early 70's we were lead to believe that 1975 was going to be the end, and when it came and passed, we were all blamed for going beyond what was written. Instead of admitting their error, the Watchtower blamed the ones who became disappointed when the end didn't come.
They still dangle that unreachable carrot to unsuspecting people to keep them following an trudging along. That carrot has been all dried up and moldy for decades now, but people are still trying to reach for it. Sad.

I bet it will help a lot of people realize that they are not alone, and that there are those of us who can relate to the shunning and disowning by family and friends.

Laws, laws, laws, laws, laws. Not just laws, but petty laws. Pretty soon it will be illegal to fart in the comfort of one's own home.

Current technological advances are showing us just a glimpse of what is really out there. 3D printing is the wave of the future, and I have read that they are already experimenting on being able to print actual body parts for transplant!

Yes there are many topics on this subject, and it shows how much the Watchtower loves money, real estate and other material goods. It almost makes one wonder who or what really is their God, is it Jehovah or is it Money?

I was 15 and my Mother told me that I was ready, so I got baptised that year at the District Convention. It just seemed like the normal thing to do.

Yes, I too still have issues relating to the Watchtower. Seeing the honest responses of those who are still having trouble coping is awesome. Admitting that we have issues is the first step in true recovery, and just the mere acknowledgement makes us LESS dysfunctional!
