  A slick new gismo I just got!!! :D

  it's called the intelligent stick.... i'm sure that most of you have seen those little usb "stick" drives... they are small and plug into the usb port and allow you to store anywhere from 16mb to 1gb.

  i've never bought one because i did not like the idea of carrying around a stick with me everywhere i went.

  then i saw the intelligent stick.

  i was talking to an elder the other day, and he told me that the governing body had all moved to walkill to because jehovah wouldn't let them be destroyed.. but, i thought, weren't some of the gb in walkill anyway?

  and if this is the case, why would they build that massive residential complex in the dumbo area?

  are bethelites expendable if a terrorist attack did happen?.

  Mark your calendars for Saturday. As you may already know, it is a sin for a Taliban male to see any woman other than his wife naked, and that he must commit suicide if he does.

  So this Saturday at 4 p.m. eastern time all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists.

  Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this anti-terrorist effort.

  All men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not Taliban, and to demonstrate that they think its okay to see nude women other than their wife and to show support for all American women.

  And since the Taliban also does not approve of alcohol, a cold 6-pack at your side is further proof of your anti-Taliban sentiment.

  The American government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your participation in this anti-terrorist activity.

  i'm new and this is my first post.

  when i was in the truth, i remember how we were encouraged to cultivate a personal relationship with jehovah.

  we were to think of him as our friend and to rely on him soley.

  Hello, and WELCOME!!!

  While I was in the "Truth", I used to pray all of the time. I tried to make it as heartfelt as I could, and really focus on my prayers to Jehovah. I would lie in bed, and speak to him as if I were speaking to a good friend. That good friend turned their back on me, at a time when I needed them most.

  Then I found "The light", and it wasn't what the JW's were teaching, it was the realization that all that I had learned and poured myself into was nothing more than a bunch of rhetoric babble, as regards to the organization.

  Now that I am no longer in The "Truth", I pray no more, and really have no desire to. Praying is a spiritual thing, and my days of praying to a higher power are gone, since I no longer have a belief in that supposed higher power.

  In regards to the human rights aspect of it, I think they should be able to freely study their beliefs with those who already share that belief. On the flip side of the coin though, they should not have the right to insistantly shove their beliefs down someone elses throat, as I feel this infringes on other's human rights. This does cause a sticky dilemma though, as a large part of their beliefs are "Sharing the good news of the Klingon Kingdom" with others. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.....

  I hope that the Kremlin is aware of all of the scandals that the Witlesses are involved in, as that info. may prove to be invaluable in the case against them.
