That sounds like a defiant and arrogant attitude as far as the JWs are concerned so I believe she will be DFed mainly because she doesn't sound repentant and likely not to repeat the same.

The original Jewish Christian church, what happened to it?
by greendawn inthe christian church began as an entirely jewish enterprise yet today there is no such a thing as a christian jewish church certainly not one that has an uninterrupted line going back to apostolic times.
it is the gentile one that continues to this day.
so isn't that surprising?

So isn't that surprising? What happened to the early Jewish church that founded the gentile church, when and how did it disappear? It's worth noting (as far as I know) that it never gave up the Mosaic law and always kept separate from the gentile Christians. Even so they were fiercely persecuted by the Jews simply for accepting Jesus as the Messiah. -

settle this argument...have JW's ever said they prophicied about anything?
by oompa inespecially big stuff like the end of mankind in 1914, and christians then being raptured.
1925 men of old to return to earth.
did we ever say it was a prophecy?

Whether they call it a prophecy or calculating when a prophecy would be fulfilled it makes little difference since in practice through these they enticed and messed up the lives of millions of people.

IMPORTANT: JWS and the CHARITIES COMMISSION
by Dansk indear all (especially those in the uk),.
following on from danny's excellent post here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/16/128626/1.ashx i have just sent an e-mail to the charities commission.
some time ago i wrote to you about the dangers of jehovah's witnesses and how they don't deserve charity status because far from helping mankind they are a real danger to it.

I am also astonished that they managed to dupe the governments of several countries into registering them as a charity when from their behaviour we see that they don't have a clue as to what a charity is. Yet it is not just their legal but also their religious duty, since they claim they are Christians (which they obviously aren't), to provide some charitable work.

If Walmart employees can do it and win, why can't we?
by REBORNAGAIN inwhy are we not all getting together as a group and get back at the borg for what they have done to us?
"there is strength in numbers" and definitely enough of us.
we have all suffered in similar ways, some more than others.

Being organised is always advantageous to having individuals exerting their efforts in isolation. For whatever reasons, the ex JWs though they are so numerous have never managed to organise anything of substance to cordinate and direct their efforts against the WTS.
When the unorganised fight against the organised they can't have much impact. In the case of ex JWs only a non religious organisation would work. -

good for her!!
there's so many similarities between fundamental mormonism (and even conventional mormanism) and jw's it's spooky.. i'm proud of this girl for getting "out".

This religion seems to be a way of sexual licentiousness, just imagine that man alerady had 19 wives and as if that wasn't enough he was sexually exploiting his daughter since her preteens.
Obviously one man can't satisfy 19 women so they would all suffer in sexual frustration. -

It would be extremely dangerous to let a mankind that was beginning to become wayward to remain as one solid entity, it had to be broken up to reduce its effectiveness otherwise the world would come under a hopelessly powerful tyranny.
Ever since the nations remain divided which puts in place the necessary checks and balances to their policies. A global human government will never be allowed. -

I'm Hungry! Describe your "perfect" hamburger or hot dog.
by journey-on inmine is a hamburger cooked medium well with fresh home grown tomato, lettuce, purple onion, mustard and mayo...no ketchup...kosher pickle on the side.. the bun must be toasted and preferably either sesame seed or poppy seed.
u-m-m-m.

Hot dogs are a very processed food and probably also contain monosodium glutamate to boost a weak meaty flavour. Home made burgers are much healthier and easy to prepare. I mix pork mince with cinammon, parsley and finely chopped onion (egg is an optional ingredient) to make a nice burger.

Forced Blood Transfusion = Rape!
by Gill incan anyone please help me with these very important references, please?.
with the case of the sextuplets in canada and the case of the woman in ireland being given blood and their descriptions of the transfusions as 'violations' and 'rape' could someone give me references from watchtower publications where the watchtower advises this description and approach to refusing blood transfusion?.
this is really important, i can promise you and i do not have references or publications available to me except for the most recent.. thanks again!.

That's correct, how can they try to prevent those children from having life saving blood transfusions when they are not even JWs who had agreed to abide by their rules?
That's one of the most infuriating violations of common decency by the JWs. -

Moving house and going to an altogether new area is a stressful experience but you seem to be taking it in your stride and that there are a lot of prospects for you in the new area.
