  the fantastic quotes website said that as of 2005.01.31, the wt has not specified which books, specifically, they feel are still copyright protected.. .

  the law is that copyright for an author lasts through his life, and for so many years after his death.

  (blondie will confirm this - with a source i betchya-) ::: in order to prove that certain works published years ago are still within the copyright, they would have to admit and confirm who wrote those works.. .

  i wonder if there are any statistics or reliable info if even regional that give the number of jws that died due to wts policies against blood transfusions (and organ transplants for a limited period).

  Heads-up on two sure-cures for colds, flu, viruses, etc.

  i've seen so many of yall suffering with colds, flu, viruses, etc.....well....either yall or yall's family members.

  and it's kinda frustrating to sit back, knowing what i know and have experienced as cures for me and my family members, so that we don't get sick from these things anymore.

  it isn't ethical to advise yall to use these treatments, so i'll just let yall know what has worked for us and let yall use your own judgment on whether to try these methods.

  The northern hemisphere is near its longest day (on the 21st of June) plenty of daylight, whereas the southern I suppose is near the shortest day, minimal light and depressing.

  Sometimes when you see people paid to do almost nothing you wonder how they don't get bored to death. The other point is that in certain posts there are far too many people and they end up doing very little upon sharing the tasks between them.

  today i visited a (ex)jw christian forum, the first one i registered to when i needed to talk about my doubts and thoughts.

  i read my posts from 1 year ago, when i was really deep into research about the bible and the canon in particular.

  now it will soon be one year ago that i finally accepted that there is no jehovah.

  You are right leaving the JWs is a very delicate operation that can not be interfered with in crude ways. One has to struggle with a powerful religious complex within and a hostile environment outside and a person has to move at his/her unique pace through this process.

  i guess my new-found freedom of personal expression is working its way down to my kids.. i came home from a crazy day at work, ate my dinner, was loading the dishwasher, when my 13-year-old son says, .

  "mom, i have something to tell you - i'm bisexual...i've been that way for a year now.

  i still can't help but have my old jw brain at work, thinking this is not okay - kind of like, i'm an apostate with a bisexual son...what will my family say?!

  I think at that age he doesn't know what his sexual identity really is and it more likely to be a passing phase.
