So what's going on? Do all JW parents exclude their ex JW children from their will? Aren't they socially constrained in this? What will the rest of society say if they basically disinherit their children for having chosen not to follow their religion? That surely reflects badly on them.
I can see it's another way for the WTS to punish and to instill fear in those still in the cult. It's a very ruthless organisation.

The Butchering of the English Language.

does it really take that much effort to add an "s" to the end of a word?
now, before i am decried as a racist, please note that nowhere in any of my statements have i isolated any particular race.

English grammar is easy enough as it is, there is no need to do away with or mix up the few endings that verbs and nouns have like saying: me thinks so.

There is some heavy handed cultic thinking in what they told you. What proof is there that they are the only true organisation in the world? Sounds like cheap propaganda to me. God won't accept anyone unless they become part of the watchtower society! Very grandiose, audacious and transparently false an obvious marketing ploy to attract members.
And why doesn't god get it right with his FDS for once so that he will not keep on putting out misleading information that messes up people's lives? Doesn't sound like an authentic divine arrangement this hopelessly muddled FDS. -

i was brought up a witness, in a family that was very 'strong' (or so everyone thought).
i didnt have a relationship with my perents at all other than the 'family study'.

What big changes made by the Borg bothered you when you were in?
by LovesDubs ini came in in 1984. at that time they were beating it into us not to have kids or go to college because the end was soooo near and the generation that saw 1918 was about all dead and we couldnt go much further.
they were touting the whole peace and security cry and then there was the peace and security convention in like 1985 that had us all abuzz after which of course nothing happened.
then they went and changed the definition of the generation in 1994 saying of course since armageddon didnt come after the 80 years had gone by that defined the old one that they basically had to go to plan b...or plan m by now, and that the generation was now everybody since 1918 who has or will live during the time of the end ad infinitum!!!

That's a very cunning and ruthless elite running the JW brain dead drones. I didn't see any changes in the short time I was there but if I were a dub in 1995 I would have left right away after the generation change. That destroys any point in being a dub since the end may well be centuries away. And no apologies for messing up so many lives with the belief that the end is coming any time now. Such a sense of urgency.

That's not the important issue, the real issue is that the JWs replaced jehovah for Jesus who is the really central person in christianity. Jehovah refers one straight back to the pre christian judaic set up where believers were slaves of a lord rather than children of a father.
The JWs are constantly projecting that image the Jews had of worshipper versus lord not worshipper versus father (or slave with lord not inheritor with father).
Otherwise lol, who cares what the name of the jewish old testament god really was? The saviour is Jesus not jehovah/yahveh. -

Being a JW is stressful enough given the circumstances of a supposed never ending pressure from satan and his earthly allies the demands of the org, the need to keep from bringing reproach on jehovah and the unloving self seeking brotherhood. That's where they should look for lightening the load.
