Looking for my Japanese mother
by Billygoat ini've posted about this story in the past, but i've decided to do it again.
i posted a thread last year with my full name on it and just the other day, realized, when i google myself, that thread comes up.
i felt like dad had my step-mom and the twin boys had each other.

I've written Oprah before for other things...I would be happy to write for this, Andi.
I just have tears in my eyes. As a mother, I know that your mother must have a whole in her heart not knowing where you are. I just don't believe any woman can have a child and have that child gone from them and not wonder, every single day of their life, where that child is.
I will PM you a family story of mine that makes me think so (don't want to post it here)
You are so special. Any mother would be so lucky to call you her daughter. I hope and wish with all my might that somehow, someone will be able to connect you to finding her again.
PS, your name Kumiko is so beautiful. So beautiful!!! *tears*!

I Love It When The Words Are Wrong..
by Englishman inmy old boss was forever going on about us being careful "not to set any presidents".. hl's friend's ex-hubby needs some surgery on his knee to have "his cartridge removed".
she's signed an affy-david as part of the divorce process.
meanwhile he spends his time in night clubs watching the cadbury.. jenny, the pub's landlady, took the quiz a couple of weeks back and questioned us about "far from the maddening crowd".

How about "it's a MUTE point" instead of a MOOT point!! that one drives me crazy..
Another is more of a typing issue....."tomarrow" and "congradulations" ERG......
I like Joey's version from Friends "It's a Moo point. You know, like a cow's opinion. It doesn't matter." LOL

these are hilarious! I especially enjoyed this:
Thanks to my mom, I can laugh about 'public' hair!
my grandma called it that and it cracked me up LOL. My pet peeve word besides "supposably" (non-word!) is "irregardless". NOT a word, people! It's regardless...regardless of how you use it LOL.

fell away.......wanna come back...please help.
by Tiggerchick1012 inok, so here's the situation.
i am 24 yrs old.
married and have 1 child.

Tiggerchick, you're always welcome here. Hope you'll take the other posts to heart.
I was raised in "The Truth". I chose to leave in my 20's not only for my own sake, but the sake of my child, too. She has a mind of her own now, and is growing up free from the restraint of fear and guilt. You know, guilt is a terrible motivator. Jesus didn't use guilt to motivate his disciples. To me, faith should enhance your life and be about making you happier and stronger. Please think about that before you decide what is really best for you, your marriage, and your child's future.
My child has two things that my JW parent's couldn't give me: choices, and unconditional love. Those, I wouldn't trade for the blessing of any man-made organization.
Wishing you health and happiness,
hugs

I find it incredibly amusing for some reason that the pop up ad in this thread is for low carb alternatives LOL.
another great thread!!
