  i had a nice visit with my parents.

  my father even called mitch son, i almost passed out.. we chatted a lot about their lives and their friends.

  That's nice to hear. I hope your mom is feeling ok. And the fact that your dad said something about you and mitch just may be his senility popping in here and there.

  His saying "Son" to Mitch was quite a nice gesture, kind of heartwarming on a cold day like this.

  YK & Friday Totally Out Of Touch With Reality

  i've just had a few beers with my old mate ray, the non-jw husband of sausage lucy.. poor guy, he's never been remotely interested in jw's, he thinks that they are a bunch of losers.

  unfortunately for ray, he met lucy when she was a frisky ex-dub, but now that she has seen the light, ray had better conform or else!.

  poor ray has just been kicked out of his house for the umpteenth time, lucy is now getting to be regarded as a "domestic" by the somerset police.. ray's crime?

  My 2001 Top Ten List of Movies

  ok, folks, the year is almost up, and it's time for the critics to post their list of the ten best movies of the year.

  since this is subjective, everyone's list is unique, and here is my list.

  feel free to comment with your own selections, or even disagreements with my choices, though i'm not so much interesting in arguing the worth of a given movie as i am in seeing what the consensus for the best movies is.. i can't think of ten really great movies this year, but i can easily come up with the 5 best, in ascending order to number 1:.

  I talked with my mom about this today. She was angry that she had always gone without, while being told to be content with it.

  I remember stories of elders bailing out the congregation, much like the story above. A looks thing, i guess.

  i ruined a real relationship with a real man that i had been with for 11 years for a jw who used me, got his rocks off, then told me to hang in there.

  i have lost everything for this person, and does this person care????

  i doubt it.

  My dear, why would you leave a wonderful man, even if the JW pretended to be good as well? Wouldn't your misery be partly your fault, even though the JW now scorns you? If so, it sounds like a little justice. Your husband must have loved you, and he paid dearly for no fault of his. I don't know, hon, I think this one is your burden to carry. Can't blame the JW's for everything.
